Replying To AudiMan:  "What is the difference between Side Terrace, Town Terrace and River Terrace when you actually get into the ground?"
For the Tyrone game a few weeks ago, I entered through the town terrace and went along the side terrace to the river end. I guess they could have it sectioned off for the Louth game but I doubt it. I'd say if you have a terrace ticket you can stand wherever you want.

Replying To SouthOfTheGap:  "Take Croke Park games for example, they will sell the corners of the Hogan, Cusack and all the Davin before the will open up sale of the Upper tiers. So you could get slap bang in the middle of the Upper Hogan or Cusack long after someone else has putchased and is left sitting beyond the end line in the front row of the lower tiers."
They've done their usual Croke Park job in Ballybofey. The Side Terrace tickets went on sale this evening. I'd nearly expect a few Stand tickets to go on sale when the Side Terrace are all sold out. The County Baords have abdicated their responsibility and given all control to Ticketmaster.

Replying To Lockjaw:  "Very true. Some of it has been well over the top.
Empty vessels make the most noise I suppose.
Hopefully Michael can continue to do his talking on the pitch and leave the haters shouting into their wee echo chambers."
Maybe I've missed the worst of it but all I saw about McGuinness is that he is putting out an "us against the world" narrative, maybe he's genuinely agrieved, maybe it's a strategy. Regarding Murphy, yes I've seen comments that he gets away with a bit, nothing unusual, I've heard the same about Clifford, Connolly, Galvin, and plenty of other top players, big deal.
Have I missed some terrible slight to the two Donegal men.

Hi Green_Gold: Yes was thinking that was the way of it.

Replying To rorysboys:  "Good win but we need more from certain players. Murphy immense again. Wee question just asking for a friend bonner and Gallagher were slated for playing murphy out around midfield but he's still there now and a few years older but not a peep about it. So the reason all managers play him there is because that's where he is more important to the team. Louth next it's just a game we have to get through without injuries to set us up for the croker trip. No disrespect to louth who have done fabulous but we'll have too much for them in ballybofey."
Enjoyed many chats with your county supporters ( both counties indeed) down here over the week end and kept assuring them that the return journey would feel much shorter after a positive result. You dominated possession, found good space and worked your way into very good situations… needed to be a bit more clinical to avoid that tight finish.
On the subject of Michael Murphy I had a close up view of the great man in action. He seems to be operating and doing most damage in the centre half forward position. Apart from kicking two smart and timely points from play he set up scores for Mogan, McColgan, Gallen and S O'Donnell . It takes strength, courage and skill to delay and time the pass until a colleague is in a favourable position to capitalise. He managed to execute this at top pace while often being clattered from behind by one or two opponents .
Open to correction here but my abiding memory of MM under previous management is seeing him at centre half back engaging in sideways passing … nothing wrong with that when taking a breather from his current punishing role but leaving him there kept the opposition happy and became a frustrating watch for Donegal fans.

Tickets are not in County Board control. Every decision in regard to games at this stage is made by Croke Park. CB are told whats happening and thats that

the terraces will be sectioned off for the match. Entry will be by the correct turnstiles only.
