Of course there was money involved but surely Kilcoo could have got someone closer.

I feel the u21 competition doesn't get the respect it deserves.

Eunansforever- How did the club only have 17 available players for gweedore game?? Has the wheels come off underage?"
You're right, the u21 competition gets no respect. It's shoved in at the end of the season. Whatever chance the u21A teams have of getting some respect, the teams in the B or C competition have no chance. Its interesting that the 'A' competition has north and south groups, while the 'B' and 'C' don't. Some of the journeys that teams are asked to travel are ridiculous. Malin to Glencolumkille - 2.5 hours, Fanad to Kilcar - 2 hours. Some lads are away at college and have to travel long distances to get home, then asked to take long journeys again to matches on a Saturday.

Played terribly in the second half and were completely overrun but they found a way to win right at the death in dramatic style - you have got to admire that big time.

Huge game next - fully expecting a glenties/fintown win after we got slated for loosing to Glen by a single point ……"
More sour grapes

Gweedore looking the real deal this year again. Going to take some stopping. Big ask for our young lads this weekend. Aprox 6 of our u18s with a final on Friday night against Glenswilly that are also involved with our 21s and will be playing on Sunday v Aodh Ruadh. Not ideal.

What are you trying to say. You wernt at the game so you don't know the real story. I'm damn sure there's two sides to every story. But in your case it's bonner in the wrong.. sad really.. what is he supposed to have said.

Every one needs to get on. Too many loose canyons on this forum. We need to get on lads. Do what I do ignore the people with agendas.

Ha , ha. you are on a roll, don't forget that the Thompson's dad was a Rossie and Leo's mum from Tipp.
A great win for Naomh Conaill …some achievement for a small town club (apologies to my friends in that beautiful part of the country) .They never gave up and kept believing to the very end , shades of the '82 AI final at the end with that high floating cross. I'm sure the journey home to the hills was so much shorter after that result. Thought they were solid with occasional flashes of brilliance , probably left 1-03 behind in the first half, lost concentration and momentum through the second half but that incredible spirit saw them through at the end.
Glen appear to have all the aces and will be hot favourites to advance just like most pundits predicted a Kilcoo/ Crossmaglen semifinal in the other half. NC will travel in hope probably to Omagh and you just never know with this incredible group of players.
Naomh Conaill Abú !

I wouldn't even waste my time typing it for two reasons. 1. The content is disgusting and 2. because of that the mods wouldn't allow it to be posted and rightly so.

It was being widely shared last week and if you are as in the know as you claim to be I'm very surprised you didn't see it. You probably did and chose to ignore it. Blinkers on again.

It's not hearsay when it's the official referees report in black and white. I know you're badly out of the loop but you might get it in a few weeks.

How do you know what's in the referees report. Bigger question is how did this become available. Somebody has a lot of answering to do. lol

If what was reportedly said is true it could open up a very unpleasant can of worms.
No need for it at all, regardless of how poor the officiating was.

Heard a story first hand maybe 10 years ago about same club and same characters at an U14 game where the referee feared for his safety because of the threats and language used from the sideline.

So no surprise.

I wasn't saying Jim should take him in as I have no informed opinion on him.I was just thinking that since McGuinness has yet to appoint a number 2 Lacey might be in his thinking. He was prepared to work with the talked about Kavanagh and Lacey team.

It's none of your business whether I'm on any executive or not - you made the statment as been true and the onus is on you to prove it which you have failed to do.

I opened the conversation asking for thoughts / opinions on new posts available - you don't give your opinion , you made up a random story from a high stool most likely with no subsistence at all.

There isn't anything difficult to understand about that…"
You'll love this, a member of the Letterkenny executive told me that they had made this particular approach a few weeks ago, but you didn't know that as you're obviously the one not in the loop. But now your club is now going in a different direction and have been advertising on Social media since the weekend looking for applicants.

You're still hurting badly over the loss to them? You should lump it on them to win if that's what you expect, the bookies are pricing NC at 9/2 with Glen 1/5.

I think Glen have improved a lot since they faced Eunans a few years ago and the home advantage for Eunans too that day must have been worth a few points as well.

Glen are not only after Ulster, they want that All ireland they came so close to last year. It's a massive task for NC but would be an almighty win if they can get it.
