I see Killoe are through to semi-final of Division 1 of Leinster Club Football League. Colmcille play St. Sylvesters (Dublin) tomorrow at 4pm in Colmcille to decide the last semi-final spot. Colmcille won that QF at the weekend, so Leinster Club League Division 1 semi-finals are both Longford v Dublin... Very sad news. Dermot was Man of the Match when Carrickedmond won the Intermediate Championship in 2001. A massive loss for family, community and club. RIP.

Surely this is not going to happen again this year? i know the club has had some retirements but name a club in the whole county that doesn't lose players each year to either retirement, immigration etc!!

Apparently there was disagreement on this in Ballymahon & last year's successful management decided to step down.

Always around this time of year. Championship generally begins at the same time every year, its more so whos playing who is what people are eager to know!

Last years draw was on Monday 23rd May, this years is on Monday 22nd May. So its a day earlier this year :-)
