Harsh on carrickedmond but that's important point u didn't mention.
No winners really here .
Won't be replay anyway"
Unfortunately, Carrickedmond probably hadn't the opportunity to check Clubber at half time!

So Dromard are back in according to the fixtures. Carrickedmond playing Slashers in relegation game to see who plays Mostrim or Kenagh.

Yeah looking like delays ahead to eventually end up exactly where we are now.

I don't know how this will end but I know that Carrickedmond will not let this go without exhausting every possible avenue first. There is no chance the quarter finals will be held this weekend

The video clearly shows that they lost by a point.

The referee's report clearly states that he made a mistake in counting the scores and that they lost by a point.

I feel very sorry for them - it's a particularly **** way to go out of the championship - but there's no ambiguity, no room for argument, in any of that. An error occurred and it was corrected.

What case do they have left?

"If only we'd known we'd have tried harder" is no more a valid argument in the GAA appeals system than "If only Cian Mackey hadn't cleared that ball off the line and we hadn't then missed the resultant 45 on top of that". No appeals body would entertain it.

Killoe-Clonguish final back on the cards as a result.

I heard that the quarter finals are to be played even if Carrickedmond have an unanswered objection

Surely not? Can't see the games going ahead at the weekend. Are Carrick going to the DRA?
Any word on the Longford management team?

I agree with all of what you say, except the last bit! You have joined the ranks of playing down your own side!!
From talking to Carrickedmond clubmen, they will go to Leinster and then the DRA. As a previous poster said, all delays to end up with the same result.

Carrick would have to go to the Longford Hearings Committee first.

They could, I suppose, go to the DRA seeking an injunction to postpone the championship, but for that they would need a prima facie case (which they don't seem to have from where I'm standing) and be able to argue for the balance of convenience that they would have a significant chance of winning that case (short answer - they don't). It would be €1000 down the drain. Once the referee admitted his mistake the game has essentially been up.

I suppose, liosbreac, we're all doing that to a certain extent, but the two matches we've won we've won by a point, whereas Clonguish have been impressive in their last two games and Killoe have been cruising. We would need to improve dramatically to be in contention for Seán Connolly.

Colmcile no easy game for clonguish if fixtures stay like this wouldn't rule our mulinalagta either.
Kilow favourites clonguish probably next but clonguish Colmcile mullinaghta granard to lesser extent can beat each other or knock each other out.
