Yes indeed third time lucky for them. Should other junior clubs amalgamate in efforts to win the junior A.

Loughrea have spent the whole first half whinging at the ref and umpires rather than trying to hurl. Their full back line is under a lot of pressure with Phelan and Tarpey. Jamie Ryan to come in but Turlough have Hussey and Loftus in reserve. Finely poised with Turlough two up at half time.

Very gritty first half between Turloughmore and Loughrea. Turloughmore by 2 points at halftime.

Those two young Whelan boys are a serious bit of stuff for Turlough. Thundered into it in the second half. Loughrea no full back line, no free taker and no Jamie Ryan cost them.

Congratulations to Turloughmore. Hard luck Loughrea. Very tough match. A shame someone had to lose.

Sarsfields having a mare here. I'd say they have butchered 2-6 in the first 20 minutes. Thomas' not up to much either

Loughrea need a more consistent free taker

Conor Cooney having a monster first half for Thomas's. Lively enough match.

Amen to that. Very valuable especially in a close tense match.

Turlough won't get a better chance than this year. Sarsfields missed enough chances to win three games today.

Surely the Intermediate Final Ballinderreen v Tynagh/Abbey-Duniry will be a Double Header with Senior Final St.Thomas' v Turloughmore in Pearce Stadium Sunday two weeks, and the Senior B Final Replay Mullagh v Ahascragh-Fohenagh on Saturday in Duggan Park.

Makes sense so it probably won't happen. Should be great matches though. I hope the young lady that was hurt in a match in Tuam is ok.

She will be fine thank God.Pure accident.Pity the winning captain didn't mention her in her speech after though or the County Board member who presented the cup.

Yeah that's true but in fairness your head is probably spinning after all the excitement and tenseness, etc. Glad she's ok.

Fair play to Thomass they will walk the final. over the last few years turlock have turned into chokers so surprised they got to a final. Harder and harder to argue against Thomass being called the greatest club team to come out of Galway now. Loughrea really missed Ryan yesterday but thats the way it happens. Delighted to see David Burke coming on at the end yesterday too. Looked in super shape too. really felt this was loughreas year, not sure where they go from here.

The one thing they definitely won't do is walk the final. They physically bullied Sarsfields yesterday but Turlough are a lot bigger around the field than Sarsfields. They also have a much better free taker when you see the way Walsh hit them yesterday compared to Kevin Cooney. Turlough could have easily choked that game yesterday when it was level coming into injury time with Sean Loftus not fit and missing their best man marker Michael Morris and two more starters in Hussey and Trayers. Conor Cooney won't get the space he got yesterday with Daithi at 6. I can't see there being more than a point or two in it either way. Thomas' deserve to be favourites but a good few of their key lads aren't in great form up front (Eanna, Darragh and Flannery). Outside of Conor Cooney, it was only Manso who showed well consistently up front yesterday.

I was at the game yesterday how you think that Thomas's will walk the final is beyond me if sarsfilds had a free taker they would have won plus the Thomas's forwards don't contribute enough on the scoreboard other than Conor Cooney a very tight final in prospect
