The only chokers yesterday were the town! How many Finals and Semi Finals have Loughrea choked!!
Really fancy Turlough to win the Final.

Tom Quirke? I'm pretty sure he has started every game for them this year, either at midfield or corner forward.

Harder and harder to argue against Thomass being called the greatest club team to come out of Galway now. Loughrea really missed Ryan yesterday but thats the way it happens. Delighted to see David Burke coming on at the end yesterday too. Looked in super shape too. really felt this was loughreas year, not sure where they go from here."
I cant wait for Turloughmore to prove you wrong, Thomas's will have it all to do to "Walk the final".

Thomas's are not the team you are making them out to be. Turloughmore will be hard bet in a county final, mark my words.

Turlough 7/4 to lift the cup is a mighty price.

Thanks for the update I was listening to GBFM, where I'm nearly sure they suggested that 'TomTom' wasn't a regular starter....perhaps at midfield? I don't doubt that you are more informed on the matter, if you've been looking at Turloughmore all season.

I fully agree with you. County Finals are typically hard fought. I think Thomas's deserve to be Favorites but only barely.

I'd favor Thomas's but very close. A point or two. You've been right a lot this year so I wouldn't be shocked if you were right about this too. Loughrea and Clarenbridge are my biggest disappointments of this year's Championship.

Very true but better days are ahead for them I'd say. There's a lot of parishes that wish they were as good and competitive as them.

What a lousy, mean - spirited take.

Mullagh got to a county final, the only one they could qualify for, like it or not, and surely having a bit of local hype and noise around the place is good for the area (I imagine, I haven't been there in a while) and what harm is it doing to you anyway?

I think that last weekend is as a good a chance Loughrea will have for a while. They have been quite lucky to keep their panel together with not having many county players so they probably had the most continuity across the whole year. Won the league handy with pretty much their championship panel. Coen and Huban haven't much time left and you wouldn't say they have the young talent coming through that Clarinbridge, Oranmore and Turloughmore have.

Any idea how many adult teams you have? I presume there must be clubs up your way with 3 or even 4?

@ Katser Did someone from Loughrea steal your porridge - very obvious from your comments , the delight you seem to take in a few results that did not go their way.

Anyways I doubt very much that your mean spirited jibes will bother any fair minded contributors to this forum.

No doubting the Town will rally again - as they always do .

I know Sarsfields had a team in Junior F which would be their fourth team. Coincidentally, they had 42 players listed on the programme last weekend in the senior semi final.

Im only having a laugh. You'd want to lighten up. Mullagh lads are always the first to dish it out when they get the opportunity.
