Replying To Breezy:  "That's Arsenal though. We are talking about top level soccer players : )"

Nonsense. I remember Aaron Kieran on the Tge Toughest went to play soccer in Sunderland, and he couldn't believe how hard the training was. It was on another level to anything he had experienced

And that was with the Sunderland youths team if I recall, not even the first team.

A fair few Dublin players were clearly wrecked even in the early stages of extra time and they are supposed to be the fittest team in the country, McCarthy struggled to even get up off the ground after he was turned over before Mayo scored their 16th point.

I doubt there is one GAA player as fit as Ronaldo and he's 36 years old. They wouldn't have a hope of keeping up with him.

That's because they train full time, add a 40 hour work week on top of their sporting endeavours avd we'd see how long they last, most of them wouldn't even attempt that lifestyle, let alone live it for years on end

Aye right, goes to show, Ronald 36, Teddy Sheringham whatever age, playing top level walk about football. Some difference in that and any county between hits and fitness. They wouldn't last in club fotball.

Why do people keep mentioning Ronaldo ? He's a full time pro athlete,, I never said that the pros aren't fitter, I said that gaa players have tougher lifestyles, workwise, sportswise, and financially . I wish people would read my posts before responding to them.
