Torn between wanting a strong Donegal to compete for Ulster at All Ireland level and want the underdogs Derry to beat Donegal and be a force again at All Ireland level.

Spillane at it again being annoyingly annoying trying to interrupt Cora and Sean.

Truth is you'd rather meet Derry than Donegal, heading for extra time here?

Excellent game. Derry could have, should have but didn't. Donegal had wiser heads.

Great game. Derry are back as a serious team.
Brilliant point to win it.

Experience won it for Donegal, they would have found a way to equalise if it had been them a point down.

But brilliant match to watch.

Unfortunately the Derry lads bottled at the end & nobody stepped up. . Was a great game. Derry will be a force to be reckoned with in the coming years.

What a game and fair play to the Ulster Championship, it throws up these battles; the championship needed that. You'd have to be gutted for Derry and congratulations to Donegal. In championship terms experience got them through it, but are Donegal a team you can consider for All Ireland honours at this stage; hard to see them as contenders against the top sides.

I feel with Cavan last year, Derry today, Armagh in the league, the gap within Ulster is closing on them and I think over the next year or two that will become more obvious, when they'll need more than experience to get over the line. In All Ireland terms Donegal wouldn't be at the same level or close to Dublin or Kerry and I don't see this changing.

They'll be delighted tonight and rightly so; but Tyrone will see them as beatable next Sunday. Looking forward to that one though. What a point to win it there today as well.

Best game of the championship this year. Excellent intensity and top defending. This is what a game looks like, none of your basketball practice games. Derry on the wrong side of a couple of picky decisions and missed a couple of goals. Outside Ulster, nobody would have give Derry much of a chance. Uladh Abu! Tyrone should head up the road to Derry and take some lessons on how to defend.

Paddy McBrearty is a legend!

That was a cracking game of football and Derry were the better team and they are going to be a force for the next few years.

For Doneagal, we are showing some real resiliance this year when is encouraging. Hopefully, this will give the boys confidence going forward.

I know, I was shouting at the TV as well, but there was nothing on - credit to Donegal's good defending

Felt Derry probably deserved extra time at least. The fear not to shoot was shocking. Jus let it off and hope for the best.
That been said a enjoyable game.
However no one in ulster will bother either Dublin or Kerry.

Well we got over the line, Derry played very well and we weren't at the races till the last 20 mins or so when we could see the exit door, that game will do us good just hope Murph didn't make the injury worse, Odhran was pure class when he came on, great points from Brennan and Paddy at the end such a fantastic point worthy of winning any match.
Hard luck to Derry, onwards we go.

You're talking about a Rory Gallagher managed team here, all natural football has been trained out of them.
