Congratulations Dublin. A win without playing too well. Fair play to Meath. Absolutely refused to lie down in the second half and fought until the end.

Be careful or you'll probably be called a troll or something for having an opinion like that around here

Irreversible damage done in the 1st half, but it will be spun by the media in a different light..

What were you watching, Fenton had the ball passed for a "gimme" goal b4 the ref blew. Fenton played on wasn't lookin 4 a penalty, and would have been a goal anyhow.

First time I've ever left a match where the loosing supporters were happier than the winning ones.
Pride restored in the jersey.
Penalty that was, not given. Penalty that wasn't, given.
That been said Dublins experience paid in the in. No complaints. Congratulations to them and I do hope they do the 7 in a row.
As for Meath ? We move on with renewed hope and enthusiasm. To quote someone.

Hopefully he will be ok, very similar to the violent challenge Sterling got when he fell for England's penalty against Denmark!.
Seriously the 2 big penalty calls the ref got wrong distorted the half time scoreline a bit, no way Dublin deserved to be 11 up at half time.

If we get by Kildare and you Galway, you have a serious chance against this Dublin side.

Agree with the dud on the sideline.

Who are the duds on the team?

Didn't see the game but maybe people now can see that just like Kk in hurling teams can dominate for longer than historically but they always always come back to the pack eventually. I have loved watching Dublin play and think they're the greatest men's GAA team of all time but their current team should not put fear into all the rest. They may well win the all Ireland again but their panel on paper is no longer anywhere near as strong as it was. You can't continue to lose the pampers they have lost (regardless of if they no longer started) and ms I rain where you were. They're still going to be at the top but the talks of 10 in a row, etc will never happen.

The last 5 mins were very boring but effective, it's sad to see keep ball in last 5 mins. Dublin had better fitness in the end.

Nonsense. He felt two hands on his shoulders and hit the deck. If there's a definition of playing for a penalty, you saw it there.

Gap closing my friend, we're not half as scary without Gavin, Cluxton and McCaffrey. Won't be long before old battles are back.

Easier to pat Leitrim fans on the head than Meath ones.

I'm sorry for your troubles, it must be disappointing for you and you expecting to be able to slate Meath after a 20 point Dublin win.

Gaps not closing. Dublin stopped playing in the second half. Don't be fooled into thinking Leinster is anything other than a farce.

But the funding is safe for another year. That's the important thing after all.

Are you suggesting we let them back in to make it look tight?

Mayo have lost more players than the Dubs to retirements and injury. Dublin should get to the Final likely against Kerry which would be a hard game to call.

The ref did his best for Meath from the 25 minute to the end giving easy frees all through for Meath. Dublin maybe got 2 or 3 frees in the last 45-50 mins with the ref blatantly refusing to blow the whistle for a Dublin free. I will have to see the penalty decisions again to make judgement on them to be fair. I think Conor lane should not be refereeing at this level. Another thing is that Kildare or Meath will not beat Dublin in Leinster anytime soon which is sad because Dublin were very average today and still never looked liked loosing
