Cheering wides when you're 10 points up. Fairly pathetic

Meath will find it hard to stay in div 2 next year
Will be very strong div next year
Hard to see where Meath are going
Its a pity to see a once strong football county struggle

As Joy Division once raged "New Dawn Fades" and this ame is not a worthwhile spectacle, hurling Tipp vs Limerick has my eyes now.

Meath have a population 3 times that of Monaghan but you can be damn sure Monaghan would never throw in the towel so easily.

Regarding Dublin, I think the Dublin posters who were downplaying Dublins chances of winning AI must have been having a laugh....They will beat Mayo/Galway easily enough on this display.

Ah sure the Meath lads reckoned it was a 50/50 game and they weren't lambs to the slaughter. Must just be one of those freak games that nobody expected.

Terrible second quarter for Meath but the ref killed us also and responsible for a 6 point swing. Meath needed everything to go right but the opposite has happened. Meath not given a clear penalty and then Fenton getting a penalty for nothing.

Not watching this crap anymore. Something needs to be done.

Some of the Dublin "fans" on here need their head examined thinking this was going to be tight

Lol you're only realising that now after we've won 11(probably soon to be 12) in a row? What were you expecting to be different today, may I ask? Don't worry, real "fan" asking here.

Great fight from Meath to be fair. They haven't given up even when 11 down.

Giving a prediction of a game beforehand, whether you expect a close game, doesn't constitute a real "fan" in some quarters? I dunno.

Leinster football is back, fair play to Meath, Dubs will be in trouble when meeting a serious side!

Well fair play to Meath for the second half. I had switched to the hurling and watched the last 10 mins. On evidence so far Dublin do look vulnerable more so this year than other years.

Bizarre game, one thing is certain this Dublin team will not win an AI final. A dud on the side line and more than one dud on this team. Hard luck Meath.

Fair play to Meath for giving it a go in the second half. My God, Dublin are fierce boring to watch. Hopefully Brian Fenton will be okay after that violent challenge that won him a penalty. The Dublin physios will have their work cut out to get him right for Kildare.
