Sorry for the intrusion, nothing personal zinny and this is not a Trolling exercise but to say galwayford is absolutely correct and right, same thing applies right across our games our games, the gaa is a game of equality now and all that, I know exactly what he is saying, it's akin to Carlow football / hurling teams not getting a mention on Sunday sport (radio) or a mention of the Carlow senior hurling performances in their Joe Mc Donagh games, the only mention that they did get was as a result of drawing with fancied favourites high profile Kerry who by some are expected to win it out, - we'll see. Rant over with no regrets except to say, galwayford is absolutely correct.

Well, You know what to do. Disgrace that the national broadcaster is devoting 4 hours to this when anyone who wants to see it is perfectly free to do so on actual British channels. Only in the 6, Tom, do you have a king. Ireland has 32 counties, but Ireland is 26 counties. The other 6 are part of the United Kingdom. It's quite easy to understand actually. Of course, things could change… …. Perhaps, Armagh might even win a second AI. The one looks very bare alone, compared to those numerous ones of Down, Cavan, Tyrone, and even Donegal's two. It's an absolute disgrace, showing this pap on rte1 and rte news channel.....we had another absolute classic in munster hurling championship last night which could only be seen on ppv

Two cracking games on GaaGo. Not everyone has that channel. The GAA have opted for a pay channel for certain matches. I can't see it change unfortunately.

That's down to the gaa rather than RTE I'd say. The Gaa have matches such as Cork v Tipp last night behind the gaa go paywall. It's a real pity. I can afford to pay for the match but I couldn't login to gaago for the match last night. I listened on Rte radio where coverage was shared with the Munster rugby match.

GAAGO is part of RTÉ which makes the whole paywall thing and not showing games like the Tipp/Cork one look pretty cynical. If they claim to be a national broadcaster then they do have an obligation to cover things that are of mass public interest. Like the Munster hurling championship, not minority sports attended by derisory amounts of people. As Tom Dempsey of Wexford pointed out, if they could show every match in the soccer world cup, then they ought to be able to show our own games.
