I think you'll find that when clubs share facilities they charge and the revenue stream can come in handy. And it works both ways. Many GAA clubs using facilities of other sports. I am referring to the FAI and others fantasising about hosting competitions that they have no capability of doing. and to the Dublin FAI who hate the "grab all association" but are the biggest grabbers of all with two gifts from the local authorities that they share with no-one! RTE Late Late show last night given over almost completely to Six nations rugby. And it is over a week away. But RTE are showing two URC rugby matches today with the Late late given over to them last night. He's a troll. I don't disagree with your post. The so-called weaker counties get very little coverage but the GAA hierarchy seem happy to make the strong stronger and keep the weak weaker. I'm not much of a fan of RTE television either. But not every viewer is interested in GAA or any sport. There's plenty that's good in the GAA, way more than what's wrong. But if some things are wrong the GAA should fix them and not have a self-pitying attitude that the wrongs are caused by other sports. A rugby discussion on the Late Late Show won't rise or lower the standards of so-called weaker counties. Of course RTE have an Anti GAA agenda. Any scuffle is immediately highlighted by rte news as well as sport prog which is fair enough but there are similar bust ups in rugby which are always ignored. Did you listen to Sunday Sport yesterday? True it seems any GAA rows are more highlighted than rugby. But there are a lot less playing rugby than hurling or gaelic football. Gaelic Football and Hurling are contacts sports though, Rugby is a collision sport, different rules, not comparing like with like. Scuffing is encouraged in rugby. At professional rugby level they have hired PR people to do down any scuffles that get reported. Gaa slower to react. The Wicklow parents row at U15 game a few months ago was a mad overreaction. Why was no-one ringing Joe Duffy saying a few adults lost their heads, we have some great young fellas playing ball here, not at home playing Xbox, drinking, doing drugs or joyriding. Social media and clickbait is the enemy here. Misreporting events. Today it could be a club hurling game, tomorrow a rugby team not adhering to COVID rules, the next day Aubameyang moves for stupid money. Don't believe most of what you read and none of what you hear. Anyways, going sideways, I'm no fan of banks. How many scuffles like which happen in so many GAA games with officials chased off pitches etc or fans running into get involved happen in rugby games in ireland/involving irish teams though?
