You lost me. Pause the praise, optimism?

Very best of luck to all involved tonight. A win and move on will be great. Obviously want to see a good performance and confidence on the field after last weeks defeat. Hoping for some good scores upfront and i'm sure the lads will be back to their best

Some carry on from the laois lads at the end.

Shocking harsh red for meath near the end too, thought the ref was very kind to laois in the last 15.

Got out of jail tonight big time against what was a poor Laois team . We were in trouble in the 45th minute until the Laois keeper had a brain fart. Poor performance but a win is a win and hopefully we can improve next week v Kildare because we will definitely need to.

Absolute disgrace what Laois carried out at the final whistle. No intention to shake hands and move on. Anyway, Well done to the lads after a rough first half and going behind with 15 minutes left they showed great discipline to come back and win in the end. Absolutely no red card either very harsh, the ref let laois away with too much in the last 15 minutes.

Win for Meath wasn't a 60 minute performance but showed flashes throughout the game, O hare , Armstrong and O Halloran all good players, possibly missing a real danger man upfront. Lilly whites up next who struggled to get out of the group after losing to a Offaly team who failed to get out of the group themselves.

A good possibility of Leinster final at this age group since it has been changed from 21 to 20???

Great win for the 20s this evening, showed plenty of positives albeit not playing at our best. Some positives to take onboard for Kildare would be young Duke at 12 Dunshaughlin have a star on their hands. Anytime we let the ball in long to the full forward line we looked threatening with the power they have. This could reap many benefits. Pity with the unsavoury scenes at the end.

Excellent insight think you could be right about that number 12.
Terrible stuff towards the end, delighted for the lads all the same. Young Murphy was a bear in the square today popping up with a very impressive 2-2 today as well.

Super stuff from Meath tonight. Great to see the likes of Sean Emmanuel back in the team! Eamonn Armstrong was like Mo Farah running up and down the pitch this evening. That Duke lad has a left leg you'd open a can of beans with. Roll on Kildare next week. #AnMhiAbu

Far from pretty last night but gutsy to find a way to win it. Kinlough came alive in the last 15 mins and it made a big difference. Kildare away next week will be a really difficult assignment. The performance yesterday won't be near good enough and we are likely to be missing Conor McWeeney, Brian O'Halloran and maybe Cian Commons. Anybody know what the story with Rian Stafford is? We haven't been to a Leinster final in this grade since 2014 and only once since 2001 so next week is a massive game

Stafford had a hamstring injury from the Dublin game, don't know how serious it is

Armstrongs GPS numbers must be off the charts, the amount of selfless running he does in a game is really impressive. Then to add to that he has all the size and footballing ability you would want. Going to enjoy watching him in meath jerseys for the next 15 years.

Massive hit on O'Halloran last night that forced him off. Anyone was it head related or was the impact on his body ? If it was head related he will definitely be unavailable for next week.

Not head related rumour is he could be on the operating table, gone for remainder of 20s championship. He'll be a massive loss he was flying up until that big hit

Huge game tomorrow. 1 Leinster final since 2001 and a lot of semi final losses so would be brilliant to change this. I think with O'Halloran and Commons you might have lost your best player and your best forward. Also McWeeney suspended. But the bookies have us as slight favourites and Kildare did lose to Offaly in the group stages so it's certainly not an impossible task

O'Halloran big miss tonight Meath's best player and one of the best at his age in the country will be missed tonight will take a massive effort to win here I think, aswell as cian commons who has been one of Meath's best attacking threats
