| Any team that loses three matches should be out of the championship. That's my view whether it's my county or anyone else's. I'd love to have a good Roscommon team to follow. I don't at the moment and I'm realistic enough to acknowledge that rather than post the sort of nonsense that you regularly post. endgame (Roscommon) - Posts: 2595 - 16/06/2024 12:19:51 2551816Link 0 |
| All good Points kev, with 3/4 games within a month, people who get paid monthly obviously can't attend games under the condensed structure, not all millionaires like Orielman. The lack of clarity too on fixtures in advance certainly doesn't help entice people especially where long journeys need planned. These reasons combined with the structure itself are reasons that people voting with their feet despite what others here will try sugar coat. Thankfully the brains in power have plans in place macca999 (Fermanagh) - Posts: 1187 - 16/06/2024 12:23:28 2551817Link 0 |
| I'd say American football is more your game alright… You seem to know a lot more about it that what's going on in the GAA that's for sure… Clare will come on lots too after yesterday's trashing in this ridiculous Championship nobody has any interest in….. | 5,127 Donegal v Clare 19,212 fro Cork v Tyrone but that was double header figure with Cork v Offlay in Hurling. The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 4192 - 16/06/2024 12:44:46 2551824Link 0 |
| I know I won't have many more days following my own county but I've been to every game they played this year since January and I will be wherever they are next weekend. And I will sit down this afternoon and watch 4 of the country's best going toe to toe. And I will enjoy watching the remaining games in this championship. | As will all GAA fans, myself included. Like most true Roscommon and Monaghan fans we will follow our counties through thick and thin and when our counties are not playing we attend or watch other GAA games for the love of the sport. The whIngers be dawned. ORIELMAN85 (Monaghan) - Posts: 839 - 16/06/2024 13:49:47 2551846Link 1 |

| As I said already the expected crowd was 5k, a little under 4000 was no small part to your own support. Was smallest crowd I've seen Cavan bring to match against us, not even a 1000 from Cavan attended the match yesterday I would say, The_analyser (Roscommon) - Posts: 4192 - 16/06/2024 14:36:30 2551861Link 0 |
| I would agree with you there… but 3k or less from Roscommon is in itself pityfull… just proves nobody has any interest in this dreadful championship set up. ForeverBlue2 (Cavan) - Posts: 4243 - 16/06/2024 15:13:09 2551877Link 0 |

| 16,300 at Cork V Offally. This was a double header so attendance inflated by a few thousand from Tyrone. dingle82 (Down) - Posts: 231 - 16/06/2024 22:17:31 2552065Link 0 |

It would be helpful if people stuck to the attendance numbers rather than bickering. It's down to knockout games from here on so be interesting to see figures . OpenStand (Limerick) - Posts: 765 - 17/06/2024 09:56:27 2552196Link 0 |
| Don't understand' Cork hurlers regularly play in front of 30 - 40k in championship games whereas the footballers including Tyrone play in-front of 5-10k So yes inflated by football supporters dingle82 (Down) - Posts: 231 - 17/06/2024 10:25:33 2552219Link 0 |
