I think I have been very clear and articulated my gripe quite well on both of them.

I am not going to waste my time rehashing the same points again for you.

Just read my posts again and you can figure it out for yourself."
There was a post you made that he "only won" 3 all irelands and 6 ulster's in 18 years. That's a trophy every other year. That's not bad in my opinion. There's plenty of other counties in this country that would have a statue of a manager erected if they won that. It seems to me that when harte took tyrone over and won them few all irelands,in your eyes it was tyrones god given right to win it every year. Of course harte is getting paid. What manager isn't these days. You still haven't brought evidence to the forum of the money that is being handed over. Or perhaps there was a time that you weren't one of "mickeys men" and you will hide behind the keypad and vent your frustrations? Harte owes this county nothing. He spoiled us with success in the early days. But eventually that train will come to the end of the track

Replying To Wally:  "This is like talking to a bunch of children.

I know full well that club managers are getting paid. I am the one who has been making that exact statement constantly on this forum.

I think you and that other fella from Clare are intentionally missing my point because you are the type of people that can't bring yourselves to even slightly criticise saint Mickey.

Just to clarify again. I don't have an issue at all with Mickey getting paid large sums of money for the Derry gig. I believe that is exactly why he is doing it. And as I have said before I can at least respect that.

But as a by product of being paid handsomely he is naturally going to have to plan the downfall of Tyrone seeing as he is going to manage a team who will play them in the league and almost certainly the championship. If he is doing that for free then clearly it is a dirty action.

On your last point, are you talking about Brian and Fergal. Plotting Tyrone's downfall? The same 2 men that led Tyrone to an Ulster title and their first all Ireland in 13 years, in their first year in charge?

And have kept Tyrone in division 1 which Mickey failed to do twice over his disastrous last 10 years in charge.

Na I am happy with a team that develops talent, plays an attractive brand of football and actually wins trophies.

I suppose you would rather go back to playing horrible negative football, winning nothing, and losing talented footballs year after year."
To be fair at the minute he hasn't got much of a downfall to plot. Tyrones attitude this past 2 years has been nothing short of shocking. No hunger,no desire l,no passion. I am not in the favour of joint managers. Nobody to call the shots and take the hit if it goes wrong. Tyrone haven't won the league since mickeys first year. 04 was a disaster but 05 made up for that. Look at last year and this year. A shambles. Mickey is a smart man. People just don't like him because he changed the way football was played 20 years ago.

Of course I'm talking about them, Brian Dooher was one of Tyrone's all time greats but management no. Logan no on both concerns. Micky Harte knew he needed another year after the Covid of 2020, on good players dropping out, where is Conor Mc Kenna and many others in the last two years. Going backwards at a rate of knots but the county board turn a blind eye to their closed shop.

So the under 21 All Ireland was a fluke, as was winning Ulster (beating the current champs Cavan, Donegal and Monaghan) and then winning an All Ireland by beating Kerry and Mayo?

Jesus wept.

So if that is bad management, then could you accurately describe Mickey's management from 2011-2020?

Could barely stay in division 1, couldn't compete in Ulster, destroyed in the all Ireland series, all while playing the most horrendous brand of football imaginable.

Now don't start deflecting by talking about his record in the previous decade or gas lighting about not having the players, just answer the question honestly.

I didn't say it was a fluke, Micky had that team ready for another All Ireland in 2020 but Covid sorted that out so another year was what he was looking. If his football was so horrendous why did all countries follow suit? He only managed Tyrone and had nothing to do with the other 31. If I stuck my hand in the fire you don't have to follow suit.

No, you said Brian and Fergal were poor managers. That's exactly what you said.

My point is that they have been very successful managers and they try to play an attractive brand of football.

So, I ask again. If Brian and Fergal are bad managers can you please explain how bad Mickey was in his last decade in charge.

I don't really expect an answer. To be honest, you and the other 'Mickey can do no wrong' gang contradict and embarrass yourselves that much that there is almost no point in continuing a debate with you.

I am so bored with this now, so I think I will leave it here.

Enjoy next years league and championship. I will be cheering on Brian, Fergal and the lads. You and Mickey can cheer on our near neighbours Derry (for free lol)

I still say Brian and Fergal are poor managers. You're missing my point why Tyrone winning in 2021 wasn't a fluke, it was because Micky had that team ready for an All Ireland. Yes Micky had lean years but he had Tyrone back and gets my credit for the 2021 win.

Hold the phone.

I have been tying you and the other 'Mickey can do no wrong' gang up in knots on these threads for days on end and it turns out you don't even support Tyrone. You actually hate Tyrone.

Jesus what a waste of time this has been.
