I'd say on the Sunday it will be Ros v Kildare or Dub v Sligo and Galway v Armagh judging by the throw in times? Maybe the Davy Burke factor will get the Ros/Kildare game the nod for TV

Why have they gone for a smaller venue?

Rumours Armagh wouldn't agree to the Hyde and Galway wouldn't agree to Breffni so something had to give.
I recall being at games in Carrick with 14k there but I'm not sure what they're limited to nowadays.

On that one - will be in Croatia that weekend.
GaaGo not a problem - as there is a FireStick app for it.
For games on RTE though - any recommendation of the best way to stream them abroad on a big screen tv - not a phone or tablet?
I find the VPN doesn't work properly for me with RTE player & SkyGo only works on the phone or tablet.
I believe the likes of SkyGo etc are blocked if you connect the phone to the tv via HDMI so that's not an option either.
I don't have IPTV setup on the firestick at the moment as my home internet isn't fast enough to play without buffering.
Cheers for any advice.

Armagh and the word agree never have been used in the same sentence before so why start now.

Are you using the player through the app or Web page when using the VPN? I think you need to watch through Web page for VPN to work. However, I've run into bother then trying to cast it to the telly. On SkyGo, can that be cast to TV using Chromecast?

Ticketmaster/GAA must think Donegal and Monaghan are in the 6 Cos.....tickets for their game are £22 !!!!!

I tried both approaches with the RTE Player last year in Spain and neither worked.
I'm fairly sure SkyGo is blocked when using the Chromecast.
It seems it can be done in New Zealand only for some reason.
I'd probably invest in a Chromecast if I could get it to work..
There is a SkyGo app for the Apple TV but I believe you need a multi room subscription to use it.
I sideloaded SkyGo App onto the firestick but it never works - I've tried several variations and they all crash pretty much straight away on opening the app.

Hurling can reverse fixtures because the groups are the same. Kerry played 3 home games in the McDonagh Cup last year and 2 home games this year. Football doesn't have this luxury as the groups are drawn each year. The solution is to give every county a home game rating for the previous 4 years. The 1st digit being the previous year, working back from there.
When the groups are drawn, the two teams with the lowest home game rating are given the extra home game.
A team would be very unlucky to go 3 years without an extra home game. A team on the other hand would be very lucky to have an extra home game for 3 consecutive years.

It's being played in Omagh, so I thought it might just be the case that tickets for matches in the North are always priced in Sterling, no matter who's actually playing.

But funnily enough, tickets for Tailteann Cup matches there this weekend (Fermanagh v Laois in Enniskillen, and Down v Longford in Newry) are all priced in euro.....

That's a pain. I think you can cast using NOW TV but maybe SkyGo is different. Chromecast is good and works for nearly everything bar the Virgin media player but I wasn't able to cast the BBC player when using a VP. Can you access your Sky subscription through Now TV?

Galway and Armagh requesting a move to Croke Park, what's wrong with the Hyde

That's a lot nearer galway. Leitrim is just bad for both teams. If there was a better stadium in Mullingar or Navan it'd be there

Teams with ambition want to play there. Difference between Galway and Armagh and teams that prefer whinging and perpetually losing i suppose. No matter where the games are played.

Probably not make a lot of sense numbers wise. would it even get 20,000 as stand alone?

They won't get more than 25,000 in Croker. Poor form by both county boards. Should be in Roscommon if it's to be moved.
