Cracking game down PUC, played more at Championship Pace than league , well by Cork anyway, really exciting.

Magic to have Jack back, still the game changer he always has been.

Brilliant ground, even if the location in the city isn't great, never was to be fair, well done to all who developed, should be more high profile games played down here.

Can i ask what was ref at today in cork??the 2 sending offs, the frees given on both sides were absolutely dreadful..surely grounds for being stood down from next round or 2 of matches..he really took from a very good game..maybe he's what croke park want..ref in Armagh game had a tougher job but dealt with everything very sensibly..I know they have a very tough job some are now taking the proverbial.

Well worth your victory today - we'd be very disappointed with our performance and had a great goal chance in the first half that our player inexplicably tapped over - huge turning point in the game. Good luck for the rest of the year."
Yeah I was surprised he didn't go for goal too. That could have been a turning point but we have form this year of not giving up even when we go a few points down. We seem to believe we will always claw it back and it turned out that way again today. We missed another goal chance too in second half. Conor Cox just isn't the player he was 2/3 years ago. If that fell to any of the other forwards it was a goal. Was a pleasure having the Armagh support in Roscommon today. Lovely fans who passionately support their county. Up there with ourselves and Mayo. Best of luck to ye for the year also. Ps was fantastic to see future Gaa President Jarlath Burns in attendance also. What an impressive man he is.

Physio enters pitch and pushes player. Discuss."
the main incident before it was the Armagh player striking and only for the ref and his officials missing it he would have seen red and Armagh down to 14 men for the final 20 mins.

A disappointing day for you Username. Looks like Dubs will be back in div 1 next year. You ll miss div 2.Tbh there is nt much of a difference and bar Limerick or Clare sure Dublin play all the other teams regularly. On an aside yes Páirc Uí Caoimh is a fab stadium altho a pity access was nt made easier. Football wise Jack MC looks like he has lost none of his speed and flair. Bad news for opposing teams but for most football fans it's great to see him back. Enjoyable game too.

Division one is becoming a great competition with only the Rossies on full points. I must say I'm pleasantly surprised with them and have really enjoyed watching their games. Very entertaining and some great players. Love this Ben Ó Carroll.

I didn't see the incident bit I presume the umpires did as R O'Neill was booked for something.
The player the physio pushed was a different player. I don't want to appear to be going on and on about it as it was a good clean game and fair play to Roscommon, but, it's not OK for a background team member from the sideline to touch a player - people seem to find this hard to agree with for some reason?

It's unlikely Limerick will retain Division 2 status. Cork, Louth, Kildare and Clare are on 2 points. A lot to play for in retaining Division 2 status and "securing" All-Ireland qualification.
Cavan have 3 wins on the board in Division 3. They'll be intent on making an Ulster final in the summer. Westmeath, Fermanagh, Offaly and Down are in the chasing pack on 2 wins.
Laois are going well in Division 4. Sligo an Leitrim who will most likely be competing in a Connacht semi-final for All-Ireland qualification, lead the chase.

Unfortunately I have to agree..looking very unlikely limerick can survive now..probably banking on getting a win over Louth..limerick art away to cork which is now looking very daunting..div 2 is really competitive now with all teams bar Dublin and Derry fearing relegation..I'm not sure if the new championship set up has lead to the shackles coming off but the games so far have been very good..

Kildare and Cork are in a fight for All-Ireland qualification in Division 2. A warning for all Division 1 teams in the importance of retaining Division 1 status.

Dublin and Derry the only safe bet in Div 2. Little or nothing between the rest, Meath still have to play Dublin and Kildare and next weeks game at home to Louth is going to be very close.

A lot of League football to be played yet, but I don't think Cork look to be in too bad a shape

Talking to four long time Dublin fans in Portlaoise on their way south to PUC. They were re living a journey taken 40 years ago to play Cork in an AI semi final replay. Great tales of Joe McNally's goals, a young Barney Rock and thoughts of Anton and Mullins leading the team. A pleasure to meet such great supporters.

The Tailteann Cup going to Meath this year would seem
quite appropriate. The word is associated with the county after all. Sure isn't the field there even called Páirc Tailteann.

And O'Rourke did say he wanted Meath winning silverware again!

Division 2 football is beneficial to Limerick. Limerick making a Munster final or Tailteann final is a strong prospect.

Loving Division 2 a Chara, its the novelty of visiting places we haven't been in years and playing some teams we dont usually its really refreshing as a fan. We were in Div 1 so long the games were becoming stale, its a welcome respite in all honestly - thats just my take though. Game yesterday was ferocious really pleased with it very close to championship pace and hard fought that will knock the cobwebs right of us.

Its a super ground, really should be playing Semi finals and the like down there they did a super job, its a jewel.

As far as the Dubs go, we are very poor at the back, worst ive seen in a long time, we dont have the players back there in my opinion and are fumbleing around trying to find something that works. I think we are going to struggle at the back this year.

Jack looked incredible yesterday, he still has it in spades, hes lost noting, won the game for us, immediately breaking lines, creating and getting in on the scoring act - hes on a different level - he just oozed confience and to be honest, it kind of showed me how far of the standard we are - to what we were in out 6 in a row years. We are in with a shout, but i don't think anyone will be fearing us like they used to.

We will be attacking i think in the main, because we aren't great at the back, we will be relying on Jack and Murch pushing he press back and breaking lines with their pace.

What going on down the southwest, the lads must have wintered well, still only the league.

Ah there's some characters alright a chara - the Dubs always travel well, heard so many stories' about the famous Semi last night. The official attendance as 10k, but i can tell you there was far more at the ground.

Yeah good to see Jack back for football sake. Dubs fb líne in trouble alright although Hurley is a fab baller. That Hanlon looks like a top keeper and what a save. You d be better off going to div 3 or 4 though User ha ha and you d meet teams you d never meet. Not sure what's going on in Kerry but hoping we can survive div 1 and then maybe get a few lads back for the championship. I think we are going to struggle midfield. Our new hope Joe Ó Connor gone for year with cruciate and David Moran retirement leaves a void. Hoping Diarmuid Ó Connor might do a job for us there when he returns from injury. I agree that PUC should ve holding big games. Fab stadium but one problem is they plug for their own. Last trip there I count nt get a pint of Guinness. They had only Murphys or Beamish lol.
