That's great but that's a different discussion to the point I was making. Read my message again.
He seems to be dropped so Kiely obviously agrees with me.

I think the point is that he has achieved all of those things because of the type of player he is. It's the quintessential nub of the discussion. The fact he I'd listed on the bench could be due to many reasons.

Yes I'm sure John Kiely really cares what you think ..

Replying To Fitzy01:  "It can't be easy on the guy with the attention he gets from opposition, the opposing fans, the media etc. He mis timed a shoulder and its featured in every newspaper, been discussed at length in every podcast etc etc and even branded all kinds of names, even on this site, by people who have no idea of what they are talking about. The man has been hurling week in week out at the highest level for going on 6 years and just because there is tiny handful of incidents he gets branded by the mob. There are plenty of other players who have done far worse in the same time and never had a word written about them. The true hurling fan who gets their knowledge by going to matches will already know this, the guys who form their opinion by reading\listening to the opinions of others on social media and podcasts etc simply will not as they are just ingesting whatever is popular to say at that time and whatever will stir up a bit of controversy and debate and create headlines. Also if the Hegarty is fouled a free should be given, just because the man never goes to ground or throws off the helmet and goes rolling on the ground, doesn't mean he should not get his free.

The man is a legend and most people can only dream of achieving what he has done in this game. I'll be looking forward to hopefully seeing him in action on Saturday night and he'll get some support from the Limerick fans when he takes the field.
Luimneach Abú!!"

The Limerick v Clare game is on Radio , but RTÉ interrupt to cover a meaningless WRC game v Scotland.
Why?

He'll probably be given a yellow card in the first 20 seconds, due to the "attention" of the 3 Clare men hanging off him like chimpanzees, before he proceeds to win the match for Lim3rick by scoring 5 points from play..

It'll be one to tell the grandchildren about.
Hon Limerick!!!"
Excellent stuff.

Some game, well done to Clare that's a massive win for them.

Good question. Great Munster championship hurling match. Should have been live on RTE television.

Yeah, it was a good game alright, but do you not think it a bit disrespectable to be referring to any of those players out there as chimpanzees? Such moronic comments only make a bit of an ape of yourself at the end of the day.

Nickie Quaid made some fine saves but he was poor for the Peter Duggan goal.

Need to clamp down on all the throws, it's running the game. If in doubt penalise them is the only way I think. It's obviously being coached

You're right. And hats off to Clare on a deserved win.
My only negative comment, and for the record would not have affected the outcome, is why the likes of John Conlon feel he has to spend the entire match hanging of Cathal ONeill and then Hegarty. Same with Cleary at full back on Gillane

The fouling and holding off the ball by the Clare backs was wreckless . Referee spotted about quarter of it - umpires and lines men might as well not be there .
