Replying To TerribleFootwork:  "Yeah fair summary taught our backs were really good but forwards struggled, conditions probably a factor in that, I know our Dublin friend ExiledInWex mentioned he knows parents of those involved in the Dublin minor team, hope someone in the Dublin management have a word with some of their subs from today who were whistling and jeering when Wexford took frees close to them in the last 10 mins of the match."
Didn't get to go to the match or see it, so not doing Arsene Wenger on it I didn't see it.
I don't and won't condone that carry on, but these things happen and if Dublin had a free at the end, would it not have happened the opposite? I'm not saying its right and would never condone it if our subs at club were doing it.
One thing that has got my goat since I moved here is this obsession with the town teams doing well. What difference? Looking at the range of clubs represented from Bannow/Ballymitty, Monageer/Boolavouge, Liam Mellows and subs from Horeswood, Fr. O'Regans, Gusseranne and Davidstown/Courtnacuddy is it not better to see these clubs raise their game and make county players? Who cares if they are not from the towns, what difference?

I can't say anything about the match but fair play to Wexford and maybe the 2 will meet again. Was Eoghan O'Donnell's cousin hurling? Someone asked but I didn't have a clue.

I'd like to think it wouldn't happen the opposite I wouldn't be happy if the Wexford lads were doing that, whatever about supporters but players involved should not be carrying on like that, agree regarding the clubs if it was other way around I'm sure the narrative would be rural clubs are struggling etc. Don't know if anyone playing yesterday is related to O'Donnell, Purcell from Kilmacud at 14 was Dublin's most dangerous player, very direct sort of player.

Thought their no.7 was their best player

Do you mean Eoghan O'Donnell's cousin was hurling for Wexford or Dublin? Because I'm fairly sure his mother is from around Ferns

Replying To Paull:  "Regarding the minors a win is a win as they say..
Dublin IMO were marginally better, had more scoring chances and more wides .
We got a very fortunate early goal when the Dublin Goalie dropped one into his net and after 15 mins we were 1.03 to 0.00 up and at that stage playing well.
Dublin then took over and other than Jamie Doyle we had no real threat up front.
This was the story of the game until we made a few subs which improved matters.
Two things we need to improve on immensely are creating goal chances which I can't remember us doing today and cutting back on needless frees .
Our half back line was very good with the full back line also quite good.
Goalie solid with 1 very good save.
Probably need to shuffle the decks from 8 upwards to get the best out of this bunch.
Was a game that they could easily have lost in the end but they refused to be beaten and that is my main positive of the match."
Would agree with that assessment thought Dublin were marginally the better team but our lads never gave up and hung in there to sneak the win. Hopefully this will give them a huge lift another big game for them Friday. Thought Purcell for Dublin looks like he could be a big player for them in years to come

Heard the lads had a good few days in Portugal and got lots of work done. Hopefully we can get some luck with injuries now and we can head to Salthill confident of a big performance

Was in at the minor I thought they played really well!!! Iv never been in the park and seen the breeze change direction so many times in a game, conditions were tough enough, hense the low scoring!!! I thought the hurling from both side was very good just the shooting was the problem!!!I felt Wexford were the better side and had way more possession than Dublin and created more chances just took the wrong option as regards shot selection or over played it!!!Dublin had Notting up from apart from Purcell he was a handful and got most scores or looked like scoring,Jamie Doyle at 11 for us looked the steadiest on the ball as regards scoring!!!I was very impressed with Wexford's defence!!! They showed great character, some great tackling and hits around the field!!!jack dunne in the middle of the field put in a huge shift!!!2 from 2 great start keep it goin now!!!!

Any news about our injured warriors lads.
Hopefully they got some additional treatment in Portugal, or maybe not. Anyway it's a waiting game now. So fingers crossed.

Apparently the full team took part in a training match out there.

Different level of focus and intensity altogether.

That is brilliant news if so. We need everyone for the 22nd and hopefully we have luck on the injury front throughout the round robin too. I think the likes of Rory and Lee will have to be managed carefully

Hope we have everyone back for the 22nd. A win would go a long way towards making a Leinster final. A loss wouldn't be catastrophic either once we play well and don't pick up any more injuries.

A win would be a massive result and our biggest since 2019. A loss wouldnt be catastrophic but would put huge pressure on us to beat Dublin presuming we win our home games against Antrim ( which will be far from easy) and Westmeath. First and foremost we need a big performance in Salthill and see where that takes us

We probably wont know if the likes of Jippo and Hanlon will make it right up to throw in. Disappointed to Ian Carty has picked up an injury I would have him wing back if fully fit. Hopefully he can make it

I see Dublin have moved their home games against ourselves and Galway to Croke Park still playing Westmeath in Parnell, sounds like it was the preference of the Dublin players.

Croke Pk with 15,000 max in it, horrible atmosphere. Couldn't sell out Parnell last time we played them up there.

Hope so. If Matt and Liam are missing too, and maybe Devitt, it will leave us short of numbers at the back.

I think that might be slightly better for us than playing them in Parnell Park. But I suppose we will have to wait and see. Is there a championship season ticket like the underage one?

yeah don't think it damages our chances of winning that game at all, as countyman said atmosphere wouldn't be anything hectic so would have less of a home game feel in that regard aswel.
