Same as ourselves where Wexford v Laois next week in u20 football is down for Patricks Park, I suspect that the protect Wexford Park from heavy traffic.

Good win for the minors last night.

Excellent performance by the minors last night, from memory I think they were 15 points up with 5 to go and ran out 10 point winners. They played some very good football on top of that, a really nice brand.

Hard to know what Carlow were like really but Wexford were on top from the very start, minor footballers had a decent run last year so hopefully this years team follow that up, think they have a home game against Wicklow up next

Just watched the last of the u20 game. Good even contest. Watched the end back again. And again. And again. Anyone else think the ball clearly bounces up off the ground when the ref blows for picking off the ground?

Standing on the bank in Bellfield it looked perfectly OK, and there was a goal for the taking.
Watching the video again ( and again) I haven't changed my mind. A bad call by a very fussy ref.

Game changing call. If he wasn't sure it was picked off the ground he shouldn't have given a free. If he was sure he needs to go to specsavers.

what happens if the game has to be called off because of the weather?

I think the forecast is more showery that persistent rain at the moment for Sunday and wind will be very strong but not as bad as Saturday. No surprises in the team named, same 15 as started vs Tipp and Longford, no goalie on the bench with Brooks injured and Foley playing u20 next Tuesday.

Will have to be played before the next round. So they will have to find an alternative venue, play it a day later, or move Louths game against the winners back a week.

I'd be shocked if it wasn't, worst case scenario they'll move 1 of the Enniscorthy grounds or even play it in Carlow if the situation was that grave.

Wexford Park has been closed for a few weeks now at this stage so I'm sure it will be fine.

If things get so bad that it can't be played there then it will be the same across the entire country.

We went up to Ferns after Patricks Park for the Tipp game. Got called off again there. We ended up in Fethard in Tipp the next day. Was a really nice afternoon for it and pitch held up well! We were pucking a ball after on the full size Astro. It's some facility.

Couldn't be happier with that display in what was a potential banana skin.

Surely our biggest ever winning margin in championship?

Nothing to fear against Louth now, can't beat winning momentum.

Couldn't believe how poor Carlow were. But in fairness our lads did very well. Hopefully Darragh Lyons will be alright for next weekend he looked very sore coming off.
