Well done to CBS Mullingar u14 hurlers on a marvellous win in the Leinster Final over Wexford CBS. Last year's u14s lost the Leinster Final by a point to Enniscorthy! Great to see consistent improvement and success with the small ball in the school, competing and winning at this level. Super work being done, well done to all involved. Next years county u20s and minors will be strong, and should make progress. Looking at county u14, u15 teams backboned by a lot of those cbs Mullingar lads, we look very good too. Our underage is in decent shape at the moment and it will keep improving, what's concerning is how much we've fallen back at senior level compared to last year, already facing into a heavy beating down in Wexford. Killian Doyle hasn't featured in the championship at all so far either. It will be difficult to see us staying up vs Antrim, either way we need to build a new young senior team.. plenty of the u20s will step up.
