Fine game last night and against all odds the Gaels came out on top. Hopefully the weather doesn't spoil the senior final today

Very poor fare today due to weather. Most people I heard at game felt it should have been called off yesterday like happened in a number of other counties. A pity to have what had the prospect of a classic game reduced to a dim eight score effort won by two lucky goals.
In any event congrats to St. Mary's on completing the treble. Well done to St. Pats minors who overcame a Cooley team that fought to the finish. It was the better game with 15 scores.

3 in a row for St. Mary's. Congratulations to them, I'm sure they'll have their sights on a solid Leinster campaign

Hearing a club has an objection in with Croke Park regarding the 3 points for a win in the league games once Louth players returned.

Heard they are sure they will win as county board got no permission from Croke Park to play these rules

All league promotion and relegation to be cancelled

Our 1953 winning Leinster Championship goalkeeper Niall O'Neill has passed away.RIP. He was a Gaels man.
Condolences to his family and club.

Congrats to the Marys on winning a historic three in a row senior Championships. Also congrats to the Gaels on winning the inter Championship. Not too many teams that are relegated from senior bounce back and get promoted the following year. What a novel Junior final this Sunday. Good luck to the Tones this coming weekend. Dooley Gate is a sea of blue and yellow. The John Mitchell's manager is a Drawda man Jimmy Murray who played with Louth, the Blues and the Nicks. He will know alot of them Tones lads.

Well done to the tones today, great to see a club like that who have been trying really hard to make big strides in recent years getting the job done. It was fully deserved too. Also, well done to both the gaels and the Mary's. Hopefully all 3 teams can make a dent in Leinster now and keep this great wee county on the map. In my opinion, ardee have a lot of the right tools to go very far in the competition, surely they will be thinking of a Leinster final and croke park

Congratulations to the Wolfe Tones on winning the Championship after such a long wait. Enjoy the celebrations.

Congrats to the Tones on a well deserved victory. I seen grown men who followed the Tones all their lives with tears in their eyes yesterday. I think the Tones will do well next year in the Inter Championship. History was made yesterday for the first time ever as a team from Drawda, Dundalk and Ardee all won Championships this year. Up the townies.

Martin Cassidy or Casso as he is called was the last Tones player to play for Louth. He won an All Ireland B medal with Louth in 1997.

Pats kept up the country boys as minor champs.

Huge congrats to Wolfe Tones. Must be one of the furthest ranked outsiders to win that championship ever in the modern format.

Like Roche last year in the Inter Championship. Came from no where to win it.

Brilliant to see the likes of Roche and Wolfe Tones winning championships.

A clean sweep for Drogheda teams this year at junior level

3B League - St.Nicholas

Great to see Craig lennon get an allstar. Sam mulroy probably a bit unlucky but louth were never going to get 2 allstars. Fantastic year by Craig.

Congrats to Craig Lennon on achieving a well deserved all star. He's only 23/24 so he has plenty of mileage left in him. He is a future Louth captain.

Best of luck to the Gaels today and the Marys tomorrow on the start of their Leinster adventure. Hopefully both clubs have a good run in their respected competitions.
