Well done to Louth on your hard fought win yesterday. A big win against Cork, something we couldn't manage a few weeks previous.

Looking forward to the first championship meeting ever of our counties. The last 'significant' game we faced off was the Division 2 league final in 2006. We went into that game a bit too cocky and didn't heed the warning after the first game and subsequently lost the replay in Breffini Park.

I'm hoping history doesn't repeat itself this time!

I remember them 2 games. 2 excellent games and a proper atmosphere at them aswell

Pity this is not in Clones or even Breffni again. No need for it or any of the 1/4 finals to be in Croke Park

Craig Lennon definitely deserves an All Star. The player that got us the win in the final seconds. What an incredibly talented player.

Well lads, big meeting with Donegal at the weekend. Only 5 between us in the league in Ballybofey and their goal was the real difference. Think we have improved since then, have won 2 , drawn 1 and lost 1 to Kerry, my AI favourites, that's not including Leinster where we put it up to the Dubs again their goal gave them breathing space. We are playing well and are getting goals, So though Donegal will be favourites, this is a game we can win. What's your thoughts in advance of the big day? Can see 15k Louth supporters in Croker for this which will help the team on. Up Louth.

the 1:15 pm throw in at croke park will be an atmosphere killer. 3PM in clones would be near capicity or at least 25,000 at it. id say there wont be 20,000 in croker by 1:15 on sunday, awful pity.

Its absolutely brilliant to have a team like Louth on the up and there is no reason they cannot put it up to Donegal now and reach a semi-final. If you are lucky, you could get winners of Armagh and Roscommon, making an All-Ireland final a very good possibility.
Although Louth is a big soccer county with big clubs like Dunalk and Drogheda, Louth's progression this past few years has to do a lot for GAA in the county now and should certainly make youngsters more interested in GAA in these big towns.
An Lú Abú...!!!"

Louth are in bonus territory no matter what happens this weekend. Best of luck to the Wee County.

Bookies and just about every pundit writing us off I will take that all day we have a good a chance in taking them out also they have every reason to fear us. In any case no matter the outcome I am so damn proud of everyone of our boys, here's hoping for a great game and may the best team win on the day.

The biggest matches should be in our national stadium. These are massive games.

Is Daire McConnon still on Louth panel? I'm guessing he's injured or abroad. Dangerous forward if available.

We certainly are good enough to be in a semi. I like Donegal football and the people, but we have great momentum and the huge Louth crowd will be 100 % behind this great team, led by Sam.

Safe journey to all louth supporters going to croke parke tomorrow. Who'd have thought at the start of the year that louth would be the last lensteir county left in the championship. No matter what the result is tomorrow we've made progress from last year. In complete bonus territory now.

Big thanks to the panel, management, and backroom team for some great memories this year in both the league and championship. Major sacrifices goes into representing the county and this year has seen some great games, great football played, great wins and some memories to savor. Think this highlight will give me joy for a long time and represents the mindset of a team I love supporting:

If I was on or near the Louth panel, I'd be going into 2025 feeling there isn't a major gap between the level this team can perform at and the top table. It's there for this group if they want to take that step.
