Not scoring enough from play, we are very dependent on Sam for frees apart from goals we are scoring. Need to play another out and out forward who can score.

It's great to be winning and drawing . Thanks lads.
It would be greater to enjoy it all with more scores that are there for the taking, less fisting across a line of seven or eight ( six or seven would do and leave the goalie at home ) and less kicking the ball 50 yards backwards when we get to 30 yards of the opposition goals.
It's good to be getting there but let's enjoy it.

Yea, its a shame as Ciaran was playing great. Speedy recovery. Its a chance now for others to shine and there's plenty of capable replacements. Best wishes to Niall Sharkey also

Put Craig Lennon on David Clifford. Sam Mulroy will have to pop over every free that he gets. Every Louth player will have to play out of the skins.

Well Kerry were very good in the second half, pulling away from us, some great tackling by them when we were counter attacking. They were also patient to find gaps in our defence inside and also good scores from distance. Don't think final score reflects our improvement as we left 2 goals behind us at least. Great to see Ciaran Byrne getting in a start, decent performance, Sam great from frees but missed CD for link up from play. Very well marked by Kerry. Though Tommy and Bevan had great games also. We are still dangerous. Some outrageous refereeing decisions by our favourite Connor Lane especially for first Kerry goal, overcarrying for sure. Onwards and upwards.

Cork up next. Thoughts on this? A massive opportunity for a D2 team to reach a quarter final.

Well done Louth on finishing second in your group. I saw you play against Donegal in the league back in March and was really impressed, a team on a serious upward curve. I'd say you have a good chance against Cork. Cork are a good side as well and it's hard game to call.

On present form you are capable of a win, but Cork are also performing better than expected, should be a cracker!!

Cheering on the Wee County. For the good of the county and province I hope they pull through against Cork. The organisation, work rate and talent is there. Cork are so unpredictable but hopefully Louth get in front early and Cork heads drop. Game of the week for me.

Am I correct in saying that if Louth beat Cork in the prelim quarter final, they'll avoid both Dublin and Kerry then in the quatner final as they already played Dublin in Leinster Final and Kerry in group stages.
If that's correct, Louth will not fear playing either Armagh or Donegal and will fancy their chances of getting to a semi-final if they beat Work. Their games with both in the league were close enough affaires, especially Armagh.
A semi final spot would be fantastic for the wee county.

That's correct and right and two counties that Louth never played in the Championship before.
