Replying To tickets:  "Well it looks like the u21 final for the 16/17th Dec that was sent out on the master fixture doesn't won't be on that weekend.

Glenties V Aodh Rua still to be played then prem 1/4 finals. If any player is away on Donegal holiday 2/3rd-9/10th Dec weekend, their club wont play without their players. I hope the final will be played on the 22nd/23rd. Will Glenties v Aodh Rua game go ahead this weekend coming?"
The Naomh Conaill v Aodh Rua U21 match won't go ahead this weekend coming.

Fixtures at underage in the county are a mess. An u21 competition that most likely won't finish in the calendar year.

It's ridiculous shoving it in at the end of the year, and also, why do they need to have preliminary quarter finals, only adding extra games that aren't needed.

Prelims in this competition seem pretty ridiculous alright.

Most of the players involved are college students in various parts of the country. As well as being expensive to get home it fairly time consuming as well, at a time of year when they will have exams also.

We should be making it easier for our young players to play our games not harder.

Replying To rorysboys:  "The game was not streamed live. You can waffle all you want. The game might have been made available after the game was over. My point being why would a Monaghan man want to buy it after the event. You can't fool me lad."
I never said it was streamed live - I said it was available to purchase.

No that wasn't your point at all…..

U attacked a poster for saying he watched the downloaded game by calling him a liar and when you were caught out very badly - your now trying to backtrack to save face.

U also claimed u contacted Ulster council yourself to check was it been streamed b4 hand which is 100% not true…

Replying To Scenicparish:  "There is no such team as Glenties. Naomh Conaill played in an U18 County Final on Friday night and were available to play their U21 match today, Sunday. What's terrible about that?"
Looks like much of the same for the forseeable from glenties/Fintown judging by the dreadful points return in the minor final.

Replying To tidytownman:  "Seriously?? Are you for real?? We had 6+ players that play for our 21s playing in the u18s county final against Glenswilly on Friday night. Unfortunately we don't have the population of Letterkenny/Rest of Ireland. The game against Aodh Ruadh was originally planned for Sunday, but some genius, in (their) wisdom, decided to bring it forward to Saturday. Obviously it was a hurling decision as Aodh Ruadh had a game on the Sunday. Is there not a 72 hour rule for underage players? Don't let anyone ever talk about player welfare again if they think this is acceptable. Thank goodness our club had the guts to refuse to play it."
U don't have the population no that's true but ye have no issue whatsoever drafting people in from letterkenny, Ballybofey, Dublin, Tyrone, mayo and all over Ireland to be fair.

Game was not listed as a live game which I told you, yet we have a Fermanagh (Monaghan) man buying it and giving a total one sided opinion of it. You don't fool me lads, my opinion is if you don't go to a game keep your opinions to yourself. Not interested in bluffers.

I take it you were in your armchair as usual when the match took place. If you were at the match you would have seen that it was a terrble night for football.

Its good to see people from outside our great club seeing that. He seems to be obsessed with the way we play and decision making within our club. Well......I suppose he has plenty of time on his hands seeing his clubs season is over early...
