Not sure of any new additions but have heard that the injuries are piling up from training

There is no such team as Glenties. Naomh Conaill played in an U18 County Final on Friday night and were available to play their U21 match today, Sunday. What's terrible about that?

Seriously?? Are you for real?? We had 6+ players that play for our 21s playing in the u18s county final against Glenswilly on Friday night. Unfortunately we don't have the population of Letterkenny/Rest of Ireland. The game against Aodh Ruadh was originally planned for Sunday, but some genius, in (their) wisdom, decided to bring it forward to Saturday. Obviously it was a hurling decision as Aodh Ruadh had a game on the Sunday. Is there not a 72 hour rule for underage players? Don't let anyone ever talk about player welfare again if they think this is acceptable. Thank goodness our club had the guts to refuse to play it.

Please explain?
We played the Friday before the Gowna game the reason for not playing this week I would assume is related to our u-18's being on a final on Friday evening nothing to do with the seniors.

I checked their Facebook page to find out the result from their semi final.

What's sad about that?

The common denominator has been advised to hibernate for a while. Hopefully he'll take heed.

Mark McHugh has finished up with Roscommon. Will he end up in Jim's backroom team or managing Kilcar?

The u21 match was not off because of the Senior County Champions.

Jim confirmed at the weekend that he won't be adding to his backroom team so that rules out Lacey or McHugh

You must have plenty time checking up on Facebook posts that don't concern you. I'm here for the long run hopefully. As for you and a few other petty posters. It's all negative posts against certain individuals and clubs. Ha have a nice day.

I have heard there are a lot of 18/19 year old lads called up to train with the Senior panel. Cian mc Menamin from Termon, Sean Martin mac Cumhaills,, Senan Carr from Four Master, Finbarr Roarty from Glenties among them.
I also heard that SP had the 20's out training. Not a football in sight. Just running.

I always find it amazing that SP gets slaughtered for this sort of stuff, yet not a word about the Senior teams marathon sessions on beaches and sand dunes.

Exactly . Let the manager do what he thinks is best for his team.

as far as I know there has been a couple of sessions just pure running. I think most senior teams incorporate running and ball work nowadays

Well it looks like the u21 final for the 16/17th Dec that was sent out on the master fixture doesn't won't be on that weekend.

Glenties V Aodh Rua still to be played then prem 1/4 finals. If any player is away on Donegal holiday 2/3rd-9/10th Dec weekend, their club wont play without their players. I hope the final will be played on the 22nd/23rd. Will Glenties v Aodh Rua game go ahead this weekend coming?
