Why was big Eddie's transfer prolonged? Did Dungloe object?

Don't know the ins and outs of it but I could nearly swear he lives in the Lettermacaward area . Which entities him to play. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Meenacarn onwards has always traditionally been Na Rossa, Cloughwally northwards always been Dungloe where he lives..

What is going on at St. Michael's? They are in serious danger of going down.

I know they are currently without Langan but the conveyor belt seems to have dried up significantly.

Na rossa founded by predominantly lower rosses men nearly 50yrs ago doing extremely well to keep going considering working off 3 small nt schools.

Aodh Ruadh top table at end of round Robin, no players being touted for call up from them, despite winning intermediate chip and finishing in top3 in league last two seasons and making quarters last 2 years as well, beat gaoth dobhair in cship this year, yet unable to get one player selected for county squad?? Lads waxing lyrical about fellas going well at junior and intermediate level...

I'm sure there's no hidden agenda against Aodh Ruadh and if McGuinness feels any of their players are county material they'll get the shout. They are a well organised and very fit team, but still a wee bit off the very best teams in the county in my opinion.

Saw them twice this year and they are a decent well balanced team with no stand out players. I don't think they have any county standard players but time will tell.

Don't believe there is an agenda against them, but surely there must be a couple of lads capable of making the squad, we have had a few unexceptional players make their inter County debuts in the last couple of seasons, especially in 2023....I will say aodh ruadh as a team are capable of better than they are showing at the moment, they are hamstrung by a management with a one dimensional system of play based on fear. There is still a significant gap between eunans, n conaill, to a lesser degree kilcar and the rest.

That is my take on them as well. They will be very competitive against every team they face, and it's enough to beat a lot of teams. But when we get to the real business end of things I think they'll be lacking a bit of spontaneity and star quality to win games against the likes of Eunans or Naomh Conaill.

Ambiguous enough that anyone in Cloughwally can play both. I would have thought their home house was Na Rossa. Supposedly there's pockets of Na Rossa territory further north and west of Derrydruel than you'd think.
