I believe a handful of the senior players set the comeback wheels in motion the day after the Tyrone game by landing to Jim's house and pleading with him to return. I think Jim would have been impressed with that alone as he was always very much in favour of things being player driven in the past. What was said to him? Only they know. I'm still a bit sceptical whether he will return or not but if he does it will give the county as a whole an untold lift. Coaching officer is still there months after you said he would be 'gone soon'. Maybe he'll be in McGuinness backroom team as well? Try get a bit of sightseeing done in Germany. Very exciting times. Let's hope it works well for Jim. He will be under some pressure to deliver but time is needed for sure. He will have his enemies in the media and also those within the county but I think he must feel there's something special in the brewing in Donegal to make the return.
