Unfortunately Gaels have decided to play lads that dont train this year and lads that's been training all year have to sit on bench and watch on

Just curious do clubs in Roscommon hand over recordings of matches yo total strangers. If so I might contact my Rossie friends

Gaels played fairly well against Slashers. Only for some missed goal chances they could have won the game, a last minute goal from sean clarke flattered slashers on the scoreline

Nonsense I was at the game unlike some posters Slashers aren't very good but they had another gear.

Weekend predictions:

Dromard-Killoe = Killoe
Mullinalaghta-Slashers = Draw
Granard-Colmcille = Colmcille
Mostrim-Carrickedmond = Carrickedmond
Rathcline-Fr Manning Gaels = Rathcline
Clonguish-Abbeylara = Clonguish

Crucial weekend for a few clubs, especially Granard and Mullinalaghta. Wouldn't rule out on-form Dromard causing a surprise.

I would agree with all predictions there apart from Mullinalaghta v Slashers. There's no chance Slashers will get anything from that game. Mullinlaghta by about 6 points for me.

Playing down Slashers chances. Slashers will definitely be in QF this year.

Killoe to win a cracker against Dromard's mix of experience and youth
Mullineachta will beat slashers and have a bit to spare
Colmcille will start to shift up the gears this weekendand beat granard pulling up
Carrickedmond to beat mostrim and get revenge for last years relegation game
Rathcline to win handy against gaels
Clonguish to win but Abbey to push them all the way. Abbeylara are still county champions for a reason

What do we fancy this weekend lads? Love to hear everybody's thoughts on who wins and by how many.

Hard games to call.

Why would I be playing down Slashers chances? And why are you calling me Frankspinx? No. 1, Slashers got hockeyed by Clonguish and were lucky to beat us. We were going straight back down before a ball was kicked in the championship. So to be lucky to beat us, they have no chance against Mullinalaghta. If you are that confident, go stick a grand on them in the bookies. Mullinalaghta are 4/9 with the bookies. If you think Slashers are definitely going to make the last 8, who from Abbeylara and Mullinalaghta will not make it? And no. 2, my username is Spinx!

Mullineachta will have probably their 3 injured players from Clonguish game along with aidan mcgelligot, gary rogers and Simon Cadam all back starting again. It won't be too different to the team that dominated Longford for so long

Slashers put it up to Mullinaughta tonight. Frank must be very impressed even though he predicted that they would receive a hiding. Group B is a group of death. The last place could go down to final day again

Fair play B&G, you called that right. Slashers now on 4 points after been beaten by Mullinalaghta last night!!! Mullinalaghta even played with a few lads who were lacking match fitness and still beat them. Are you still confident of Slashers making the last 8? LOL

I tuned into Clubber Saturday evening for the Colmcille v Granard game. Colmcille ran out easy winners, and possibly should have been much more than q0 point winners. I really thought Granard might have had a say in the championship this year (not win it, but qualify from the group and maybe cause a shock or 2) but they have been really disappointing. Between Colmcille and Killoe now to top that group. The Rats and Clonguish will play the last round to see who tops their group.

A great game between Clonguish and Abbeylara.
Abbeylara didn't get the rub of the green with decisions but you would expect them to still progress to the knockout stages. That spell they had in the first half shows exactly how good they can be but credit to Clonguish for managing to grind it out also.
Slashers and Mullineachta much tighter than expected but Mullineachta got the job done and will probably get third place or fourth place depending on the result when they play each other.
Mostrim and Gaels just look out of there depth and Granrd don't look much better, Colmcille did look excellent and the returns of cathal mcccabe and jack macken with enda and noel farrell to come back they look the best placed to win it all.
Killoe were there ruthless best against dromard and are flying under the radar and will have a big say in who wins connolly cup with plenty of big names to return also.
Big wins for ardagh and ballymore which not many people saw coming, grattans and cashel are already under pressure and this intermediate looks like it will be a classic

Killoe are not under the radar unless you believe what some posters from there are trying to put out! Last weekends performances showed they are ahead of the pack by a distance, having played most of the league with a second string team. They walked through a good Dromard side.

Even clonguish both favourites but

Based on form so far, the semis will be Clonguish, Colmcille, Abbeylara and Rathcline. Killoe might dislodge one of those if they can sort out the snooze syndrome that seems to afflict them in the first half of games. That first half against Dromard at the weekend was frankly shocking. Hard to see past Mostrim and the Gaels making the drop.

Clonguish still hot favourites to win it out. Not seen anything to alter my thus far accurate treble prediction.

(sound of usual warriors typing frantically)
