Not what I was told. But you carry on.

Replying To B&G:  "Don't think Graham was ever in the picture.
They offered Christie another term giving him responsibility for the U20's as well.
He walked a week later. The Co Board it appears does not have any interest in the county team. It seems to be a box ticking exercise.
They will announce an appointment in late oct or beginning of November, just in time for pre season training.
Don't expect a big name."
He was approached.

I don't think our CB know yet that Christie has resigned so I highly doubt they went after Graham!!

Having seen a lot of games, unless some teams find another gear between now and qtr finals, it is very hard to look past Killoe.

Not saying he'd do a bad job but thought Longford would go for one of their own. At least he has a decent enough knowledge of the club game though

Good man Frankie, talking down Clonguish's chances.
Surely they will beat an aging St Columba's team who should have beaten a poor Dromard team at the weekend. Playing with 14 men for most of match.
McGivney and now Shane Mulligan are suspended for this weekend's clash. I believe that Shane received a straight red.
Don't let false start blind you. Clonguish will win next 2 matches and comfortly make QF's.

No talking down from me....have you been to our 2 games?
I have and what I have seen, has not been good.
Slashers should have beaten us and Carrick were full value for their win against us.
We have a lot of injuries at the moment and our squad is not capable at this point in time to cover those missing.
I was also at the Mullinalaghta/Dromard game and was impressed with how Mullinalaghta played.
You obviously did not see that game as Mullinalaghta played with 15 men for most of that game!! Mulligan got sent off with 20 minutes to go.

He has point they struggled and form mullinaghta would be looking better but that could change obviously but mullinaghta would be more fancied than slahers or Carrickedmond still.

Anyway this game could work 2 ways help clonguish find their mojo or put them on edge.

No it doesn't help, but I was just pointing out that what was posted above was false and Mullinalaghta played most of the game with 15 and not 14. The sending off did change the game as I think Mullinalaghta were 3 points up at that stage and they were looking good for the 2 points. I'm open to correction on the advantage Mullinalaghta had at the time of the sending off.

Sending off was 10 minutes into the 2nd half when Mullinalaghta were 2 up. 100% it had an impact on the game. Dromard and Mullinalaghta are the terminators of Longford football. You can try killing them off but they get back up again and again and again and find a way.

Mullinalaghta would win the championship if they had their full pick. Playing without the two McGivneys, Rian Brady and John Keegan and still putting in a performance like that against a good Dromard side is the hallmark of a quality club, not to mention Mulligan going early in the second half. Fox was off too for a lengthy period. I think another draw could be on the cards Saturday
