Stay positive people. I think we'll do it on Saturday.
Roscommon didn't play badly against Kildare. Too many stupid wides can kill any team. I just can't see us doing that again.
Cork good and on the up but Mayo had an epic meltdown when they thought they were home and hosed. Cork could only manage a draw with Louth and are capable of the occasional collapse as well.

Hopefully the pain of Clare last year will spur everyone on. Everyone would have been delighted to have a second go 6 days later then! The players won't want to have their season ruined again by defeats to teams that they have been much stronger than in recent years

Team named won't be any surprise if at least another two changes are made before throw in. Good to see Keith Doyle back from injury and part of the 26.

Conor Carroll (Oranmore/Maree)
Colin Walsh (Eire Og) Brian Stack (St Brigids) David Murray (Padraig Pearses)
Niall Daly (Padraig Pearses) Conor Daly (Padraig Pearses) Eoin McCormack (St Dominics)
Dylan Ruane (Michael Glaveys) Eddie Nolan (St Brigids)
Ciarain Murtagh (St Faithleachs) Enda Smith (Boyle) Cian McKeon (Boyle)
Ciaran Lennon (Clann na nGael) Ben O'Carroll (St Brigids) Diarmuid Murtagh (St Faithleachs)

Subs - Aaron Brady (Elphin) Ruaidhri Fallon (St Brigids) Conor Hussey (Michael Glaveys) Niall Kilroy (Fuerty) Keith Doyle (St Dominics) Cian Connolly (Roscommon Gaels) Conor Cox (Eire Og) Shane Cunnane (St Brigids) Donie Smith (Boyle) Richard Hughes (Roscommon Gaels) Daire Cregg (Boyle)

Hopefully the lads rested as much as possible before this game on Saturday and that our shooting accuracy and team defending is a big improvement from what was seen in O'Connor park. Best of luck to all the Roscommon players and management.

I noticed Aaron Brady replaced Lavin as backup, is he gone off the panel or just not making it?

Cork beat Louth by two points! Anyway, look forward to welcoming you lads to PUC tomorrow for what should be a cracking game..

Which stand would you recommend for tomorrow?

Looking forward to it, may the best team win! Good to see Cork football making a comeback, though I do hope its a bit soon this season !

Wonder will Sherlock start after last week, was he injured against Mayo or why didn't he start?

Brady was sub goalie v Sligo and Kildare too.
I'm told Lavin got a knock.

The South Stand is usually my preference, plus the upper tier gives you a nice view across the city

TBH, Sherlock is one of those players who seems to perform better when introduced as a sub. He's started a number of games this season already, and his performances in those were nowhere near the level he brings coming of the bench. I'd imagine Cleary will go with the same team that has started the last two matches, with Sherlock coming on to make that impact.

Roscommon are a Division 1 football outfit, a few seasons ago ye scored 4-25 against us in Cork.

This is a massive test for us tommorrow.
Personally I prefer Sherlock coming off the bench, as in theory the Roscommon defence may offer him more space as the 2nd half develops.

Really like Smith for Roscommon & I am wary of the potential damage Cox could do.
Safe travels folks.

Cork have improved from game to game in the AI series while we've arguably slipped.
Hoping for a good performance but worried we may have shot our bolt for this year.

Allocated North Stand as a ST holder. I see South upper and lower now on sale so must be a decent number of tickets sold??

Good to see, hoping for a good atmosphere and a lot of Rossies down there. Safe travels to all making the trip.

Ruari Deane is injured and not playing, so Sherlock will most likely start, unless Cleary starts Corbett and brings on Sherlock. Cathal O' Mahony still not ready!

I don't remember Cox being used in their last game. Was surprised as he is always good for a score or two.

These are the evenings i love! Night before a big game down the country, getting the kids organised for the morning, filling the car and getting ready for the road trip in the morning! Really looking forward to what should be a great day in a brilliant city. I hope our lads are re energised after last week, hopefully only a blip. Huge battle ahead against an improving team with nothing to lose. We will need to be at our very best to get over this challenge. I believe if we can get back to somewhere near our full capability we will get over the line but by god it's going to take a hell of an effort from everyone, fans included!
Best of luck to all our lads. Anyone making the trip, drive careful and keep safe and we will have a great atmosphere for our men. Up the Ros!

Great post, and refreshing after the negative comments about PUC from hurling counties. Hope you enjoy your weekend!

It's Brian Hurley not starting due to injury. Big loss!
