In fairness the Galway players or management are not as misguided in their confidence as some of their supporters so I don't think it will be taking their eye off this game that will get them. They have got the best draw even though I still think Meath are capable of beating them. Galway should get over the line though. Whoever wins this will be the big outsiders in the semi final I feel."
Thank you for your input on the Galway Meath game, best of luck to Monaghan

You been saying Galway are outsiders since our first game v Roscommon Clare.. Even when we bet your beloved Mayo
Replying To 1st..sub: "Im expecting a win at the weekend, as long as we are fully focused on the game and not have one eye on potential opponents in a semi final we should have enough for Meath. My big worry is the way teams cut through us down the middle. I would like to see our number 6 man his position and not get drawn up the field. It looks like that will be Kelly but I would rather him at 7 with the option of going forward and have Daly at 6 with instructions not to pass midfield and keep the distance between 3 and 6 tight. Under no circumstances should Walsh play unless he is 100% fit which I'm led to believe he is not. 3 weeks rest will do him no harm. We have men to step up in his place."
The problem with Daly at 6 is Daly is needed as a kick passer up front that's were his strength is not as a true hold the line 6. As many other people, I thought Kelly was fantastic marking Havern out around arc on Sunday. Since Meath have a similar 2 point threat, I imagine that we'd need the exact same thing - ie Kelly pushing out on Frayne/Costello/Duke to make sure they dont get the easy shots off.
