Replying To CillTormoir:  "Are we going to win Saturday? we can be a little unpredictable (2020 final is still in my memory, when we were the better team going into the game) The closer we get to it the head says we could roll over for them, we are the better team on paper, however Kilkenny will always be Kilkenny and can grind results out when not expected. However, the heart says we will win (and possibly hit about 30points!)"
I can nothing less than a Galway win....its a matter of how much we win by

There's an interesting post on the Kilkenny page of another gaa website which sums up how some of their supporters view Galway. It says " Galway are Galway. They will give Kilkenny every chance to beat them. They have a poor goalie. They gave us 2/3 soft goals in Salthill. ". Hope Galway prove them wrong on Saturday. Best of luck to Galway.

Their own goalie, who is usually excellent, made some serious blunders in Pearse Stadium.

"we are the better team on paper" Oh yeah? What type of paper is that? I won't say what I'm thinking.

In fairness not too many Galway supporters would disagree with those sentiments but it also means that Galway should be winning more comfortably but for the fact they give away soft goals (which is true) and the goalie has been poor to average up to now at least. To beat the cats you have to fight like dogs as they say! If you don't have intensity / workrate you're at nothing!

No inter play in either forward line. KK slightly better at the moment.

As soon as an opposition player lays a hand on you these data, all you have to do is throw yourself to the ground and it's all bit sure to be a free.

After 2nights game all I can say is that we are yellow no matter what team or manager we have we don't have the mentality or the bottle. There is no fight or character in this team or any future county team we have we couldn't beat an average Kilkenny team which says it all about us they should not be let back into the county after that performance. I will be hammered for saying this and the usual response will be these guys are giving up their time and get nothing for it well you know what if u are gonna go out and play like that don't bother showing up.

Then take your hands off the player. Hands all over players was never considered to be tough or hard hurling.

It's still diving, and it doesn't even have to be a hand, any physical contact at all and it's pretty much a free, if you know how to play the ref.

Commiserations firstly. Secondly ,that was as bad a Galway performance as iv seen. They were terrible from start to finish except for about 3 players. Galway badly need a psychologist to work with them. They have such a poor mentality..so silly on the ball. The 2 missed frees, just when they were needed. Don't let anyone fool you,Kilkenny are bang average and a half decent performance would have beat them. From the poor touches, butchered goal chances, ill disipline..so bad. I feel sorry for the staunch supporters from South Galway who travelled to watch that .

Poor Henry was stunned and couldn't believe what the Galway team were doing, atleast we have the All Ireland Quarter Final in two weeks v Cork to get back on track.

Jobber's remarks are uncalled for. Out of order.

That's about it. Also Henry has made no difference to the long standing failings in the Galway hurling team. Very poor performance this evening.
