Somehow I'm not majorly surprised. Would give Davy Burke my vote for the appointment.

Could you blame him? Davy Burke deserves a chance now.

I heard Tom Cribben is in with chance of getting the job.
Surprised Glen Ryan wouldn't get the job. Kildares greatest footballer. A leader. Did great job with Longford and kildare U21s.

After the way he disrespected his players against Dublin I'm not surprised. Very annoyed Kildare fans from what I hear. Set up to keep score respectable.
I'm sure if he didn't resign he would have been fired. Well he should have been fired for it anyway.

His comments in recent podcast caused allot of criticism. Said basically love to manage kerry, its man Utd of gaa. Football was religion in kerry. It felt like he was saying he wanted kerry job and still kildare manager. Ger Gilroy on Off the Ball a kildareman, particularly was critical of him over those comments.

Think Tom would be a handy option for county board. Don't think appointing him would go down too well with supporters. No doubt Tom is Kildare through and through but we need a fresh approach on the modern game. Not sure Glen would be interested.

Had to go. Had no credibility left within the county after the examiner interview. There's not a Kildare man about that wanted him to stay on. He did a grand job and left us in division 1. Best of luck to him, please for the love of god can we bring in Davy Burke

Kildare need a Kildare man to manage, a Kildare man to coach, a Kildare man to do video analysis, a Kildare man to wash the jerseys etc etc

Kildare have tried outsiders for Donkeys years and are the great underachievers of the GAA.

When James Hiram first took over Mayo he said his main goal was to "cut the bullsh*t from Mayo football". They have made a semi final every year since bar 1.

Time for Kildare to get in a man to do the same
