                There was a character in Heartbeat called Greengrass. He was brilliantly played by the late, great Bill Maynard. That character always brought a smile to my face.

                He's a great character, always up to some tricks or other, a bit of divilment in him but no real harm.  Heartbeat is a great show. Seems pure innocent stuff in comparison to most television shows nowadays but puts a smile on my face.

                GreenandRed . You're right. He was constantly up to some divilment or other. it was a great show when Bill Maynard was in it. The soundtrack was always  brilliant.
