Just seen a topic posted up by another Limerick user named "SmellyBadger" I'd like to know reason behind that name :)
Anyone with good yarns as to why they have the user name they have?
Mine fairly straightforward. From the South division in Limerick and back in the day was a bit of a sham before life got in the way

I'm from Mayo. Haven't lived there for more than 22 years but it'll always be home.

Sadly I was never part of a starting 15 but a last minute sub, hence why I always support the underdog, the username is self-explanatory and it sits well, left Carlow over 20 years ago, I still call it home and I give it my full support.

'Infallibility' is an attractive tag, when it comes to posting HS opinions.

Got my name from Oliver Plunkett. A Meath man's head resting in the Wonderful Wee County of Louth. Sounds good to me.

I signed up in 2020 and CC from Cill Channaigh my home county.

I'm on a border with Laois and played football there so they're my no. 2 and I post as much on football as hurling, which I played in Kilkenny.

I was once called The Long Ridge, but am a born again Mick the Miller. The current name refers to a famous greyhound born and reared in my local village in Co. Offaly. There is a statue and plaque, on the village green.

When I first came on HS I lived in Wicklow in a cottage called Avon Lodge. Ali, well she was my dog at the time- now deceased- a beautiful boxer with a lovely nature. So I just put the two together.

I work as a tree surgeon and was called to help round up some wayward monkeys in Dublin Zoo whom had escaped in to the park trees on a number of occasions. So that's the story with my moniker.
