Brilliant lol. Seriously though its great to see a county like Kildare go well in hurling..Im delighted to see results like that from time to time. I actually remember when Kilkenny took part in the football championship and they played in the league in the not too distant past. I just feel there s not enough effort put in with the footballers. It would be nice to see them take part and be a little competitive.

It would be nice to see them take part and be a little competitive."]Kilkenny footballers have been out of action for a few years now, nothing to suggest that's going to change any time soon, so with the ongoing talk in the back ground of allowing players to transfer between some counties, would now not be an ideal time put that ball in motion and give those Kilkenny lads the chance to play football, Carlow a neighbouring county is waiting in the wings for all the assistance they can get, I'm sure there are others as well.
