Replying To daytona11: "We will certainly see. I think underage hurling needs to be structured a little differently in comparison to football @ club level. Let the under 12's up to minors @ club level play in leagues in the stronger counties.
So for example no reason why Maynooth, Naas, Celbridge, Leixlip, Coill Dubh, Clane etc can't be playing 15 or so matches a year in Dublin or Kilkenny even.
The same goes for Meath clubs and Laois clubs also. I know it happens to a certain extent but central GAA should put structures in place to make sure it is the norm."
Oh God I'd love to see Coill Dubh playing in Dublin !!Fairly soften them up :)

Brilliant lol. Seriously though its great to see a county like Kildare go well in hurling..Im delighted to see results like that from time to time. Would nt it be great also if Kilkenny footballers were able to start up again and be more competitive also."]Kilkenny have always had a football team. Best of luck to them hopefully they can continue momentum down there and push on and become competitive in the Leinster Championship in a few years time it would be great for the game if there were 6 or 7 strong counties in the Lenister championship.

I actually remember when Kilkenny took part in the football championship and they played in the league in the not too distant past. I just feel there s not enough effort put in with the footballers. It would be nice to see them take part and be a little competitive.

T & C apply.
