100% just a neutral's viewpoint after following a lot of Tyrone posters, but in particular Tyrone greats in the media. The narrative for a couple of years has been Harte has been holding back a great Tyrone set up; and stopping them from realistically competing for All Ireland's or beating other top teams. As a neutral I'm very interested to see if this narrative plays out, now the change has taken place.

I am 100% behind the new management.

However what's the point of changing managers when, by the look of the first team sheet, is exactly the same as before.

A lot of scoring forwards on the bench/not in squad. McGeary at corner corner. If MH did this he would be lambasted

Fridge I am going to give the management team the league before I pass any serious comment on their strategy or their performances.

I cant understand your obsession with Kieran McGeary playing corner forward though. He played in the half forward line numerous times under Mickey Harte and has contributed many fine scores over the past few years. By the talk of you, you would think that fergal and brian had lined Ronan McNamee out at corner forward.

Good half from Tyrone.

Donaghy excellent on debut. Meyler excellent as well. Donegal have so many dangerous players.

McHugh and Bonner doing some amount of complaining-get on with it. I'm not saying mchugh isn't getting fouled off the ball, but if bonner and McHugh think Neil McGee or McCole aren't fouling Tyrone players off the ball they are living on a different plant

A first half full of errors with neither team taking the goal chances.
Donegal very indecisive on the ball in the full back and full forward lines.
Donaghy a good find for Tyrone. Mc Geary a real handful.
Great to have the league back!

Ryan McHugh went down there as if shot with an elephant gun.

Michael O'Neill deserved a red card for that beard alone.

This was actually a pretty good game until the red card which never should have been.

Unfortunately the game has now died a bit.

That's hilarious given the treatment your mates have dished out down the years to him. Is there a more fouled player in Ireland..

Entertaining match. Both sides showing plenty of potential. Felt we deserved it with more natural scorers. Tyrone generally look to have a better shape to them than what I've seen in recent years. Need Canavan starting though, McGeary and a few others wasteful enough.

Ah now call a spade a spade. He constantly dives and is always the first one to mouth at the officials. He seems to think that he shouldn't be touched and anytime he is it should be a foul.

Great game of football; credit to both teams. Tyrone appear to have found another forward; Donegal looked up to pace and decent. It isn't a criticism but more a compliment although this is a neutral speaking; shorter players in football have certainly introduced a new skill to the game. There was a player from each team using this skill which led to more than one questionable free. Good to have the game back though, and a very enjoyable match.

He doesn't constantly dive. He took a shot to the guts and felt it. I actually didn't feel it was a yellow card to be fair but that's different to accusing a man of diving.

Blame the red card?

Donegal were the better team, simply as

Murphy ran the show, P McB looked back to somewhere near is best.

We were extremely open at the back. Donegal ran though us time and time again.

Bonner looked relaxed and calm on the sideline, no selectors or hangers on around him, strong and decisive.

Logan looked clueless and panicked the whole time.

Welcome to the big league's lads.

That was a tough watch to be honest.
