As long is it is not something like an ACL or Achilles, I suspect a lot of players will get injuries now they back, except some of the Dubs.

Unfortunately it is supposed to be the cruciate. Feel really sorry for him or any players who suffer an injury

Tough on the player if true but I feel Mayo will play more expressively without him slowing down every play.

I always thought that too- but you can't nearly say that as there is such a pr machine there that builds him up on a pedestal

No Need for that we are all GAA fans that like watching the best players. Last time we played them in castlebar we beat them with O'Shea just so you know.

Winning an ulster title fairly gone to yer head

Well I don't agree with that African gaelly man for me. I don't think it is- are you saying that they have no chance at all??? That is very demeaning to Roscommon peoples

Another ironic jimbo thread. Saying hoping it's gossip yet starts a thread on it. Maybe this one won't tank as badly as the last one.

Fingers crossed for the man

Reportedly going for scans today, let's hope it's nothing season threatening, another player I begrudgingly admire as on his day he can be a very dangerous player.

The already watered down season would be a lot poorer without his influence.

Best of luck to him

An absolute pox of an injury

They can do wonders with it now but it still takes massive commitment for an amateur player to get over such and come back wanting more with also juggling a career/school/family life

Really is a testament to their commitment. Several Dublin players have been cursed with similar in the last decade.

One massive prospect Mark Davoren never made it back.

Not so long ago at all it was a career ending injury and it just goes to show how far sports science has come in relation to Gaelic Games.

Hopefully it's some good news for the man though.

Have we gone back to the 1930s or 40s or something? The way you're talking you'd think Cavan have been winning all around them.

Also you say no one counts the league, yet in the same comment talk about Rossommon going up and down.

Might be worth reminding you of the last time you played Roscommon, they embarrassed Cavan in Breffini Park, having travelled up with a squad riddled with Covid-19, had maybe 20 or less players available to pick from, promoted and won division 2 of the league and sent you packing to Division three.

One ulster in almost a quarter century and you'd swear you were world beaters....

At least you don't represent the majority of good decent Cavan posters on this forum, there's always one of you in every county

To the point at hand though

If the reports are true you'd be fierce disappointed for Aidan, a cruciate in your early 30's is hard to get back from. Wish him a speedy recovery if it does end his season

Yes because some people count the league but we do not- but for those who do think the league is important I shall point out that it is not would you. How are all in Great Britain??
