Cue mass hysteria, manna for some people on this forum especially!

Be very little hysteria. Just hopefully the GAA push out the appropriate sanctions. I'd have more hope that such an event would happen with a new president in place

My 2 cents, wouldn't consider this individual act a public health risk but if there treated any differently to Cork or Down with respective suspensions to managers for there breaking of training rules that doesn't look good, also the optics of collectively training the day after the GAA release a statement asking teams not to do so is not great either.

Did this actually happen or are we forgetting what date it is?

Dublin players probably have received their second jabs from the Beacon anyway.

There will be no sanctions. This is Dublin, not the rest of us paupers.

As the Good Lord once said, He who is without sin amongst ye, cast the first stone. A Drome in the sky might produce a few pictures from beaches in Kerry , Donegal etc.

But aren't all the Dublin players professional sportsmen? ;)

Nah

Daft thing to do, non contact or not.

They only had to wait another couple of weeks

No excuses. Intelligent men that should have known better.

Cork and Down were punished for similar and rightly so.

No excuses, rules are rules. Fines and sanctions need to be applied.

Sure tis April fools day after all.

Anyway even if the story is real I don't expect that much will be done, might be a token slap on the wrist alright but the teacher rarely ever punishes their favourite pupil.

What are they thinking ?

I'm a huge fan of the way Dublin play but this is crazy stuff.

Book will be thrown at them and deservedly so. They couldn't just wait the few weeks ?

Irish Independent Journalists hiding in the bushes at 7am, taking photos of GAA players. And this is borderline perversion if you ask me.

let's not be too quick to judge.

let's wait until we hear their "explanation".

it may not have been a training session.

they may just have been visiting world war 2 battle sites in the north dublin area.

I think that Dublin should forfeit their place in the champo, and it should be given to the next highest ranked team in Leinster, i.e. Wicklow.

Would an April fools joke single out individual players?

If it is a joke it's in poor taste given the current climate

It's certainly out of character but again if it's true, it's exceptionally poor judgement and deservedly portrays Dublin GAA in a poor light.

If it's true, it's a bloody idiotic thing to do and sanctions deserve to be applied.. and for what.. a bit of a kick about?
