Replying To Royalblufill:  "Well - we have more than a 2 horse race now!!! After the weekend fixtures, Summerhill and Tones look most impressive
Ratoath will be ecstatic about scraping through and will undoubtedly be hoping they can get their injured squad members back to full fitness
Ashbourne after scraping through the group stage - minutes away from a relegation game won't be too afraid of any of the other 3!
Summerhill probably favourites now!

As for the relegation battle - it will be equally as enthralling for followers (although not for the clubs themselves!) probably harder to call than the championship itself - na Fianna - minutes away from a championship quarter final probably can't believe where they are! Likewise Moynalvey who only lost one game in the group stages!
Can Skyrne avoid the big drop!!"
Have no skin in the game in either winners or relegation.
But I think based on what I've seen so far summerhill will win it out. And skyrne will be relegated. Nothing against any one of the other clubs involved

Ratoath Dunshaughlin match was a great game and Dunshaughlin were very unlucky. Dunshaughlin management did a marvellous job and deserve a manager of the year award. Ratoath had the player resources but Dunshaughlin had the best strategies I have seen. They seemed to know everything Ratoath were going to do and had a plan for it

I am not worried about Na Fianna, I am worried about them ruining the meath championship with silly appeals that they are not going to win.
I see Meath GAA won their appeal with the Central Appeals Committee last night."
Are longwood making a mockery of hurling one appealing ?

Agree Summerhill looking most consistent but when it comes to the crunch recent record in finals concerning … Ratoath or Tones for me
On the relegation side think it will be shoot out between Skryne and Moynalvey… Skryne May have solved the goal keeper issue .. but favs to be relegated

Replying To hyperache:  "The Meath Senior Championship is absolute muck, Ratoath and Dunshaughlin was some of the worst football you'll ever see. A point each at half time.. Ratoath managed 3 points by the 45th min. Mad scenes at the end though.

Trim managed a grand total of 2 points after 43 mins against Summerhill, Simonstown kicking 1-1 in the second half against Tones. Is the standard really gone that bad? No wonder our championship winners barely get past the 1st round in the Leinster club championship."
Very harsh!

Last year's champions in Kildare only managed a 0-6 a piece draw with Athy yesterday. And last years Champions in Westmeath were knocked out of the competition 5weeks ago!

Ratoath hit 14 wides yesterday and Dunshaughlin 8. If both teams scored half of what they missed, we'd be talking about a cracker!

Summerhill and Tones look best based on form. Ratoath have work to do and form to find!

Its wide open and if Summerhill improve their shooting it could be their year. I 'm not sure who will go down and there could be a couple surprises yet.

I can't seem them being this weekend. Ballinlough and Molyagh will have lads hurling this weekend for example

When will the result of Na Fianna's latest appeal be known? Could cause serious problems if it is successful, which it has a high chance of being successful.

Sure they've played a relegation match with another incoming. What are they appealing now.

Surely that is dead and buried at this stage with Don/Ash having progressed to semi-final and Na Fianna in relegation semi-final ?

Zero chance of any DRA appeal being successful, if even they will proceed at this point.
Na Fianna's appeal was based on the fact that the Offaly Co Board deemed that their own regulations for deciding three way ties were secondary to the new Croke Park regulations. Having seen that, understandably Na Fianna appealed.
However, last Wednesday the DRA ruled that Offaly Co Board were incorrect in their interpretation and that the county regulations take precedence.

Someone had a big boo-boo on the fixture planner missing a weekend for the junior q/f's. Not fair on players involved with Moylagh/Kilskyre in the hurling who have players involved with both Moylagh and Ballinlough. On the flip side Syddan and Kilbride also disadvantaged and could be asked to play at the drop of a hat. Terrible situation considering lads are now back at college and the evenings are gone making midweek game's extremely messy. Hard to see where and when these games will be played.

Are junior A and B semi finals pre determined or is there a draw?

They really need to push out the finals by a week to get all games finished on the same weekend. Cant see that happening either as Leinster starts the week after whats in the current calender
