Austin Gleeson has been named in Waterford’s matchday panel for Sunday Munster senior hurling championship first round clash against Clare in Ennis.
It was confirmed that the former 'Hurler of the Year' returned to training with Niall Fitzgerald’s squad recently, having not featured for the Deise since he came off the bench against Cork in last year’s Munster championship.
Mark Fitzgerald captains the side from full-back while Darragh Lyons and Jack Prendergast start at centre-field, with Sean Walsh leading the attack from full-forward where he’s set to be flanked by Ballygunner’s Dessie Hutchinson and Michael Kiely.
Patrick Curran, Kevin Mahony and Tadhg de Burca have been named on the bench along with Gleeson.
