This afternoon’s Tyrone senior football championship final has become the latest fixture to be postponed as a result of Storm Ashley.
Holders Trillick were scheduled to meet 2022 champions Errigal Ciaran at 4pm at Healy Park, however deteriorating weather conditions mean that the game will now be played on Friday night, October 25th, at 7.30pm at the Omagh venue.
Meanwhile, Longford has called off its senior football championship final replay between Abbeylara and Colmcille following an emergency Management Committee meeting.
After having played out a 0-12 to 1-9 draw last Sunday, the sides will now have to wait to meet again as the poor weather conditions have claimed this afternoon's replay at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
It comes after calls were made this morning to postpone both the Fermanagh and Wicklow senior football championship finals to next weekend.
