Former Clare captain James Hanrahan has joined Peter Keane’s backroom team in the Banner County for 2025.
Hanrahan featured in three Munster SFC finals for Clare during his playing career, including in the famous victory over Kerry in 1992 when he kept a clean sheet to help the Banner stun the Kingdom on a 2-10 to 0-12 scoreline.
Now, the Éire Óg, Ennis clubman has been named as Keane’s goalkeeping coach and will also be serving as a selector under the new manager.
November saw Keane unanimously ratified as Clare’s new senior football manager for the forthcoming season, succeeding fellow Kerry man Mark Fitzgerald in the role.
