New York seeking applicants for new hurling manager

New York GAA have announced that they are seeking applications for the position of new senior hurling manager.
Having led New York to back-to-back championship successes, Richie Hartnett has stepped down from the role.
It means a new supremo will take charge of the Exiles for their Christy Ring Cup campaign next season.
Hartnett’s men captured the Lory Meagher Cup in 2025, earning promotion to the Nickey Rackard Cup this year before defeating Tyrone in the competition’s final at Croke Park at the end of May.
Yesterday (Thursday), New York GAA released a statement confirming that they are currently “seeking a manager who can build on current momentum while continuing to develop pathways for long-term success”.
Applications for the vacancy close on September 7th.
