St Michael's, Enniskillen manager Dominic Corrigan

Former Fermanagh and Sligo boss Dominic Corrigan has been appointed as the new manager of Longford senior football side Clonguish.

The Kinawley clubman has enjoyed success with a host of clubs, including Ballinamore who he led to a Leitrim SFC title in 2021. He has also had spells in charge of Carrickmore, Clontibet and Killyclogher, and won five MacRory Cups and the Hogan Cup in 2019 with St Michael’s College, Enniskillen before retiring from teaching in 2022.

Based in Newtownforbes, Clonguish are hoping the high-profile appointment will inspire them to Connolly Cup success in 2026 after they were beaten at the semi-final stage by Colmcille this year. He takes over from Liam and Belton and John Twaddle, who has since returned to Westmeath to manage Athlone.
