Croke Park will host three double-headers involving Dublin and Meath next spring.

It comes after Meath were recently granted permission to play their ‘home’ Allianz Football League games at GAA headquarters due to redevelopment works at Páirc Tailteann. In the provisional fixtures which have been circulated to county boards, the Royals will be at home to Derry, Louth and Tyrone in Division 2, and these ties will be played as curtain-raisers to Dublin’s Division 1 clashes against Donegal, Monaghan and Armagh.

Ger Brennan’s charges will have a fourth Croke Park date against All-Ireland champions Kerry in Round 4 on Saturday, February 21. The Dubs have played all bar one of their ‘home’ Allianz Football League games at Croke Park since 2011. The only ‘home’ League match they’ve played outside of Croker in that time was against Meath at Parnell Park in October 2020 when Covid-19 restrictions were in place.

Meanwhile, Kerry will begin their Allianz League Division 1 title defence at home to Roscommon. On the same weekend, Dublin host Donegal, Galway take on Mayo and Monaghan face Armagh in another local derby.

In Round 2, it's Armagh v Galway, Donegal v Kerry, Mayo v Dublin and Roscommon v Armagh.
