Kerry giants Dr Crokes have appointed Edmund O’Sullivan as their new senior football manager.
It will be O’Sullivan’s second spell in charge, having previously managed Crokes from 2019 to ’21 after serving as a selector under Pat O’Shea before that. A brother of Kerry GAA chairman Patrick O’Sullivan, he replaces Andrew Kenneally as the 2024 county champions set their sights on wrestling back the Bishop Moynihan Cup from newly-crowned All-Ireland club champions Dingle.
Dr Crokes said in a statement: “At an Executive meeting of the club held today, Edmund O’Sullivan has been ratified as manager of the senior football team for 2026. Edmund brings a wealth of experience to the role having previously managed the team between 2019 and 2021, as well as previously being a highly successful underage coach.
"Edmund is a brother of the County Chairman Patrick and son of club legend Eddie. The club wishes Edmund the very best for the year ahead."
