Kilcoo players tend not to play for down due to disputes and Galway are progressing.

While I see your point about club teams doing well can only make your club scene better, I'd argue Westmeath,Laois, offaly have had teams in the leinster club finals the last few years they are hardly pulling trees up are they(no disrespect to any of those counties at all just making a point)and a club from Longford won it 2 years ago (wonderful to see)so does it really make that much difference. While I agree no Meath team has made much progress in senior club in leinster (poor to say the least)I dont think it makes much difference at county level.Nemo rangers got to the all ireland a couple of years ago while Cork are in the last 8 this year got a bit of luck in the draw, they were a kick of a ball away from going down in the league.

That is all correct, you need every set up working well for it to impact at county, clubs, underage, county board, senior management teams etc I was more responding to those two clubs mentioned in particular vs county and benchmarking Meath overall in Leinster!
