Different orange supporters around portadown if parade down garvaghy road goes ahead. They should have been given tickets for the match!

We brought massive crowds to our games prior to 2018.

Just looking back at the Championship predictions week 13 thread and the amount of posters who predicted a comfortable Dublin win v Galway some were like 7 or 8pts and NOW the same posters are predicting Galway to win the All Ireland!! katser (Galway) - Posts: 2475 - 25/07/2024 17:32:16 2561561 Link 1 |
My Prediction for Sunday. Galway like the group game a month ago to be leading by half time by a couple of points and come the final quarter to be leading by 5 or 6 points. Armagh then to come with a late rally but will be too little to late on this occasion Gaa_lover (USA) - Posts: 3487 - 25/07/2024 18:40:56 2561572 Link 2 |
Armagh did some celebrating at the final whistle in the group game ... Galway just need to remember that and finish them off on Sunday

Would Galway be the poorest team to win an All Ireland this century if they won? Bdonegal1991 (Donegal) - Posts: 88 - 25/07/2024 21:51:59 2561608 Link 0 |
There are alot of things Galway need to remember while playing that Armagh crowd over the last couple of years! They will obviously target Galway and try start brawls but if we remain disciplined and play to our strengths and utilise our gifted skilful footballers then we will finish them. katser (Galway) - Posts: 2475 - 25/07/2024 23:37:01 2561630 Link 1 |
That's a big change from the lad who predicted Galways 3 games in 14 days would be too much and that Dublin would beat Galway by a minium of atleast 8pts!!

I hope the 10 Galway supporters who were at Sligo got tickets for Sunday. Some amount of Galway supporters crawling out of the woodwork. At least Mayo always brought a crowd regardless of time of year. LimerickForLiam24 (Limerick) - Posts: 143 - 26/07/2024 08:43:58 2561641 Link 0 |
Not sure if other Donegal supporters feel the same, but I'm finding it hard to muster much interest in this final given how dejected I feel after our semi-final loss. It's nothing to do with sour grapes or anything like that towards Galway. They won fair and square and deserve their place in the final. It was just so disappointing for us. We know Armagh are a very good team but they haven't managed to beat us in four games in 2024. Very fine margins I admit, but we'd have been a good match for them. Lots of Galway boys slabbering about brawls. I think what really worries them is how Armagh played all football against Kerry. They're not really relying on getting into Galway heads. We can play our own game. You'd nearly swear they'd love a mass brawl so if they won they could say they won by playing football and bate a crowd of MMA fighters. May the best team win. I won't begrudge Galway an All-Ireland if it doesn't go our way. Dessie_Cross (Armagh) - Posts: 145 - 26/07/2024 10:23:01 2561664 Link 0 |
Padraic Joyce and Rob Finnerty interviews this morning. Ideal for mowing the lawn! Good preview show yesterday with Aaron Kernan and Brendan Devenney.

I presume you meant the 10 Limerick football supporters! There was a decent Galway support in Markievicz, actually. It wasn't easy to get parking. Lovely views on Benbulben and Maeve's Cairn, you should take a trip up to Connacht sometime, it's a lovely province, it would take you away from that faulty keyboard!

But then again as you said before.....when have you ever known an Armagh team not to have a brawl....they would fight with their toenails! I wouldn't think their is any Ulster County who can say they have never been involved in a brawl while playing against Armagh!

Poor teams don't win All Irelands.

If that were the case, it would make Donegal woeful altogether!

Yeah I don't know what that lad was on about. Galway are a great team. Connacht champions, came through the group of death unbeaten, played an extra prelim round game, beat Dublin, beat the Ulster champions and never really at what could be regarded as full-strength.

That person is a WUM, I'd had a quick look on the Donegal thread and they are invisible. I wonder is it the young lady who tries to dominate the blog and is known here as S1234 and Galway456.
